*Gets here late*

Yeah, by far and away my favourite band. I've seen them seven times all told, and must've spent close on a grand on merch alone. Pure class. Me making a top ten would be pretty much redundant as I could easily listen to, enjoy, and probably sing along to 95% of their stuff.

Adrian Smith is a strawberry floating class act. He is probably my favourite guitar player.

I hated the majority of the last maiden album though.

I still haven't heard it yet. Not properly listened to Dance of Death either.

The first album I ever bought was Killers. Still might be their best.

Although Seventh Son was pretty excellent too. Hmm.

Seventh Son gets a lot of love here, I don't think it's that brilliant to be honest with you.

Nowhere near as good as the first four Dickinson albums.

Won't you come in to my room,
I wanna show you all my wares,
I just want to see your blood,
I just want to stand and stare.

See the blood begin to flow,
As it falls upon the floor,
Iron Maiden can't be fought,
Iron Maiden can't be sought.

I almost came when they played that at Twickenham and the whole crowd sang the chorus.

Nicko McBrain stated in a interview for Rock Radio that the new Iron Maiden album will be finished in 2010, and that a tour will follow in the late 2010 or 2011. On Classic Rock Magazine Awards, event that took place at a hotel, in London on November 2nd, Janick Gers confirmed to BBC News that the band already have new material written and will head to Paris, France, to start composing and rehearsing the bulk for the new album. The band will take time off for 'Xmas and New Year's Eve and then will go straight into recording the new album in January, probably at Sarm West Studios with Kevin Shirley producing it.

I'm listening to The NUmber of the Beast album as my first proper listening of Iron Maiden. I've been missing out. They're immense.

I hope some of the new songs are fast. AMOLAD was so slow at times, I think they still have it in them.

I thought AMOLAD was a nice change of pace, although ideally I'd want the new album to an equal split of Classic Maiden and New Maiden.

I can't believe they never came to Dublin on their last world tour in 08/09. They best not ignore us again, although I heard things didn't go well the last time they were here and whipped out the British flag during The Trooper. Crowd started booing. :fp:

I like their bass line. Their only and only bass line.
