Business is in business to make a profit. Curious to know which part of that is 'a bad take'..?

Did you read my posts?

I'm going to take this as a 'Yes, but I can't think of a response.'

A while back we figured out a large part of the alt-right playbook revolves around asking vaguely worded questions that skew the conversation away from any points you may have made.

They really don't like it when you do it back to em though.

Ok, yes, maybe. But you are peddling now.

My take is possibly from a different perspective than some here. I don't have the time to follow the hype, drama, controversy, etc that the industry's media generates and I have very little knowledge of any of those things anymore (from the sounds of this thread, probably a good thing). Previous posts also note that I categorically do not do participate in or entertain the idea of DLC releases, seasons passes, micro-transactions, or any other practices that I deem nefarious.

I'm just here for the games and to have the odd discussion about said games with people here. I got Mario Odyssey and played through it at a good pace whilst sharing experiences with other GRcaders which only enhanced my own experience.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I'd not heard about this - what's it like?

Monthly glossy magazine. Bunch of freelancers' reviews collected together, with interviews from (mostly) indie developers and features on upcoming games. Standard videogame magazine stuff, only shrunk down.

It's nice enough to have, but in all honesty I'm not sure I could recommend it: it doesn't have the same spark that made NGamer leap off the page. The art on the front cover and comic on the back are the best bits.

That's an excellent way to enjoy modern gaming.

Most gaming sites/forums are either quite toxic or just full of silly little fanboys all trying to win a game of one-upmanship. Here at GRcade, however, it's nice to be able to share your experiences with a game you're playing with others without having to wade through all the bullshit - see Days Gone thread as my most recent example.
