So yeah. I think I'm a good enough driver, my maneuvers aren't too bad and I'm confident on the roads.

I just can't help but feel a significant portion of my test tomorrow is down to luck. Y'know?

Anywho, anyone gots any tips for me? Also, should I swot up on those show me/tell me questions? I don't really know any of them right now.

It's all down to luck. I failed my first test because 1 minor incident which couldn't be avoided, it wasn't serious but the jobsworth bellend said it was. On my 2nd test 7 people all went out at the same time, I was the only one to pass.

Have a couple of whiskies to steady your nerve.

Show me Tell me questions are pretty basic, just go over them a couple of times.

Otherwise yeah, it is pretty much luck. You could drive what you think is your worst and pass, or drive a stormer and fail for something really stupid. It really is hit and miss this.

'What should you always do before pulling away?'

The only people who says it's down to luck are those who were not good enough to pass first time.

Nah it's like "Show me how you'd check the oil" "Tell me how you'd check the brake lights are working", "Show me how to top up the wash fluid".

That stuff.

Remember that they reward initiative. Take a few shortcuts here and there. You get bonus points if you go on the motorway.

I found the easiest part of the test was the oral sex practical.

Try to not get distracted by the instructor trying to have a conversation with you.
