I'm looking forward to both, however Killzone looks far more polished and it's mixing of class system is the innovation for me. The only negative comment seems to be that Killzone 2 doesn't bring anything new and maybe it doesn't but if it contains all the best bits from top FPS games and improves on them rolling into one package then I don't believe there will be much to complain about.

Comparing it to Haze is just retarded.

To open up a debate.

Why do you even post?

I like the way you selectively chose my opening line there, I was simply making the point that only negative opinions were chosen by the OP, now i could do the same for any game, also why is it even being compared to haze?

Is it justified? IMO no.

Why is anyone excited about Killzone 2? The first Killzone was average, and was hyped up to sound amazing. Isn't the exact same happening here?

By the way, did I read in some preview that snipers can turn invisible? That's going to be pretty frustrating.

The problems with the first one are well documented and are mainly technical, framerate etc. They have fixed those issues for this one, the sniper can "cloak" for a short time only.

It's already been confirmed by Beyond 3d as 720p native with 4xAA

If you even understood what the topic was about then maybe you would question what point your making. Firstly he is not comparing Haze to Killzone 2 gameplay wise, that would be retarded what he's trying to say is Haze came from a respectable FPS publisher with a background that included creating goldeneye. So you would expect the game to be brilliant, right? PS3 exclusive and all that yet it failed to deliver on what people are expecting. That is what I believe Kklien means by will this be compareable to Haze? That it has so much potential and coming from a respected dev and lets not forget how that E3 video made you think "WOW next gen is here"

I'm pretty certain the soul-crushing boredom wasn't a technical issue.

The general feeling i get from this topic is the sheer hatred towards the game and it feels like a direct attempt to troll on a sony exclusive, which is why i am not going to post in this topic.

coming from a respected dev

They actually have a lot to prove, Killzone came up short of the hype, Shellshock was average and Killzone Liberation was good.

It's not because it's a Sony exclusive otherwise countless others wouldn't have mentioned Resistance 2 would they? Now shush.

Not at all. The general consensus if that the first game was less than stellar, and it's going to take more than a few pretty screenshots of generic locations to convince us that the second game will be any better.

It also wasn't a problem with the game, it had a varied weapon set and varied levels, I completed it again recently and it shows a lot of promise that the PS2/budget couldn't deliver.
