Link blocked at work and your quote doesn't detail what it is in any way - it just expands the acronym :fp:

The OP does however, say, some think of as semi sexual fetish - enough to put people off googling at work?

Is there a video you can watch to stop being an upperity little thing? :capnscotty:

Well...

you'll probably find all six minutes incredibly satisfying, the video equivalent of a really nice, mellow kind of drug that leaves no aftertaste.

That's pretty much it.

I have informed the police that if I'm found dead in mysterious circumstances then Taf is the most likely suspect :dread:

It's not for me, but if it works for you then fair enough, seems pretty harmless.

Oh I'm absolutely going to keep watching the hell out of them (I was genuinely excited when my preferred channel posted something new this morning), I just wanted to know the GR consensus! Which is apparently that I am a soon-to-be murderer who enjoys rubbing cotton over his ears while killing.

I got scared when she started touching the camera and stopped watching.

All I know is that whenever I try and quote a post in this thread, my works filter blocks it as an "adult - sexual" site.

So yes Taff, you are a perverted murderer.

I can see the appeal. I have watched a few before with mixed results. I used to get "head tingles" in boring / relaxing situations, and also if my head or scalp was touched, but I think it's mostly gone away as I've got older and all the joy has left my miserable life

Some of them literally are the most sexual things ever, but often presented in such a ludicrous manner it's weirdly funny?

I've watched a few, seems to work sometimes, other times it's badly acted and there's a few who ham up to those who moan about the over-sexualised nature of some vids (but who can resist a fair pair of Russian breasticles? :datass:)

What is starting to be weird is that it's not limited to just humans now, way too many cat/dog eating videos in this vein which is just messed up...

One of the main problems with ASMR is the community favours the use of the term "tingle" which just makes me think of this freak:

How about combining Lovecraft and ASMR?

I find the whole ASMR thing a bit weird to be perfectly honest, most of the vids seem to be made by large breasted young women using their 'assets' to increase viewing figures and thus make money by doing strawberry float all.

They also don't work on me.

But do their 'assets' work on you?

Yes, but that's an entirely different kind of 'stimulation' to what ASMR videos are supposed to induce.
