Went for Burger King in the end. Didn't fancy King of the Day since it was chicken and I had chicken last night. Got XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger instead :datass:

It's the last day of the McDonald's Monopoly today. They've really pulled a fast one with this. 14 Mini Coopers left, 800 Xbox Ones, 3 £100,000 cheques, 150 Panasonic cameras...

Either they seriously over-estimated the number of people playing & produced far too many boxes or, you know, they knew exactly what they were doing and printed too many boxes.

Cheers. Reminded me to replace it..

The job was a debt collection agency in Glasgow, 18k + bonus. They didn't reply at all, even when I chased them. Wanks.

Pizza at home - Hands: because strawberry float da police!

Pizza out - Cutlery: because I am a civilised adult and not a sordid child.

Pizza was SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to be eaten with the hands. If you use cutlery, you're not being "civilised". You're being "stupid".

Me too. Plus if you've ordered a proper pizza it'll be dripping with oils and fats so you'll end up wearing most of it as the topping slides off. I'd image the kind of person who eats a pizza in hand while out orders a plain old margarita and diet coke :dread:

I also eat pizza with a knife and fork too when I go to a restaurant for the same reasons as the others have said. Also, a pizza in a (decent) restaurant isn't cut into slices.

Why does that matter? Pizza as we know it was invented in America.

No. Pizza was invented in Italy (of course) but it was America that came up with all the toppings etc that give us pizza as we know it today. Italians that moved back to Italy from America then exported the "new" pizza back to Italy.

Because of that there is a phenomenon known as the "pizza effect", things like Western Buddhists taking Western Buddhist ideas back to the East.
