It's like a stimulant drug to them, my kitten goes bat gooseberry fool crazy on anything I spray with the Catnip or the toys we get him.

Yeah its a drug, not all cat are effected though. One of mine goes mental rolls in it and then dives at the other cats the other two couldn't care less about it.

My cat wasn't effected by it at all, my dad once planted some in the garden for him and he just sniffed it once then turned round and pissed on it.
