Definitely excited to see if they can keep up the variety as the game progresses.

They absolutely do. We're probably a little over halfway and the game continues to surprise and delight in equal measures. I haven't laughed at a game so much in years, it really is a pleasure to play. Definitely my favourite(new) game I've played all year.

You weren't wrong about the game maintaining it's variety!

My friend and I stopped just before the start of the clock level and in just a couple of hours today experienced plenty of different settings and gameplay styles. Some of the highlights were the trapeze and the free section in the castle where you could paint, knock over the jenga blocks, etc. We both felt so guilty with what happened at the end of the castle section though :(

It's probably the best co-operative game I can recall having played and if it can keep up the variety and quality for the rest of the campaign I would think it will be a strong contender for my game of the year.

In no game I have never felt so bad in something I've had to do to progress.

Had a few more sessions of this and I believe we are approaching the end of the game now having acquired 3/4 of the note.

The game continues to surprise and delight. Both my friend and I agree that the game is amongst the best we have played for some time, and certainly one of the best co-operative games we have ever played. The variety of gameplay mechanics is staggering and there are so many moments of brilliance that bring a smile to your face, from the mini games to little details & easter eggs in the world.

I'm excited to see what the remainder of the game has to offer but am also sad to think it is almost over. At least there is the comfort of knowing I can look forward to replaying the game again playing as May instead of Cody to enjoy her unique gameplay mechanics.

Starting playing this with my girlfriend, it is great

It has the same constant variety in gameplay and mechanics as A Way Out but built on a platforming base rather than action-adventure. The gameplay is better polished, but the story is much less important - feels mostly like an excuse for the game's variety a la Uncharted 3, but there is nothing wrong with that when the gameplay is so inventive and unique!

The haptic feedback and sound design on Cody's nail in the second level feels so good. We're most of the way through the wasp shooter section right now (so only a couple of hours in) and the co-op design of it is really smart - actually requiring you to coordinate your shooting unlike the standard "co-op" shooter design where everyone can do their own thing and at best just pick synergising roles.

Loving the minigames so far too.

One early highlight from the game in the first level: Noticing the weird creatures that watch from inside e.g. oil cans but hide away when you get close, we came across one inside a book(?). I tried to ground pound it, and there is a little unique death animation as it dodges out the way of the pound and then crushes you itself!

Finally got around to completing this with my friend yesterday during the wet bank holiday.

All in all we both loved it. The variety in terms of environments and gameplay styles really doesn't let up and for the most part they're all executed well. The little touches in the world and easter eggs continued to make us laugh and smile, more than I can recall a game having done so for some time. The length of the game is good with plenty to get your teeth into without overstaying its welcome.

I'm certainly looking forward to replaying this with another friend but as May rather than Cody to appreciate the gameplay differences. We found all the mini games after revisiting a couple of levels for 3 we had missed, but I think there are some more easter eggs to find based on the trophy list.

It's undoubtedly my game of the year so far, not that I've played many new releases, and I'd probably give it a 9/10. I really hope it does well enough to see the studio continue making such unique co-op only games.

Finished this last night with a friend and it's well worth going through.

It's enjoyable to the end and as we split the cost, at £15 it's great bargain.

I still feel very guilty for what we did to the elephant.
