Not if it's all you've ever known, and not if you like your bread done somewhere between the medium and high settings.

Bread fridgerers tend to be the same type to stand up when wiping their bums (i.e. scum, subhuman scum).

But what about ketchup?

I don't put bread in the fridge but I do put it into the freezer; to keep it from going off until I'm gonna use it. Is this an acceptable behaviour?

Ketchup is literally full of vinegar. It's self-preserving! Unless you're planning on keeping the same bottle for 20 years you don't need to put it in the strawberry floating fridge.

If you keep ketchup in the fridge it has a nice viscous gel-like consistency. Out of the fridge it's basically liquid.

Ketchup lives in the fridge once it's been opened in my house :capnscotty:

I keep bread in the freezer and defrost slices as I need them. I live alone and get through a loaf quickly enough so it ends up going stale and getting thrown out otherwise.
