Yes, it reeks of council houses and poor people, but I'm sure Eight's family are not like that.

Yeah, but it's his gf's family.

He's blatantly one of those upper-middle class snobs who secretly lust after Vicky Polard types...he's probably worried they'll put his car and bricks at this event.

I'd love that to be true, actually. All these years he's been stringing us along. In reality he lives in a council estate in Peckham.

OOOOooooooooooooooo

When did that happen?

How did you propose?

Was it romantic?

At her 30th birthday party at our house, in front of her family and friends. Apparently it was indeed romantic.

How brave.

Would have been epic if she said no though...

We got this done as a joke for my sister's birthday with a picture of her as a kid when all the family were over and her friends were coming later.

It was at Sainsbury's though.

It would have been STRAIGHT TO GR.

And Asda was chosen for the photo-cake thing, as it seemed to be the only place that did it. I detest Asda with every fibre of my being. Anyone who has been to Bedminster Asda and seen the human wreckage there will appreciate my feelings. As a place to do social experimenty-style research, it's unmatched. Particularly in the realms of disproving the "Oh, middle class people are so judgemental" working-class-hero type stuff. I'm afraid the judgements are entirely accurate. WRECKAGE.

You might want to ask the friends and family to close their mouths, remove their palms from their faces and please leave first.

Well we all know Sainsbury's is superior to ASDA. People with no money go to ASDA & buy up £2 chickens to have with their Bisto gravy granules & overcooked vegetables, all while bowing at the feet of Sharon Osborne.

Meanwhile the Sainsbury's shopper has to listen to Mr strawberry floating Condescending bang on about 10 varieties of compressed air he's farted out into a can.

Surely the workaround would be to put a nice big '©' with the photographer's name on the photo cake but to make sure no-one ate that bit of cake. Once that's gone the photographer could give you all kinds of hell.

What a load of nonsense over nothing.

I do tend to quite het up about copyright infringement on photos, especially ones published online (which people tend to think makes them automatically public property). I got very angry with a local paper after they lifted a photo of mine off facebook without my permission and printed it on the front page, for example.

In this case, though, it is a bit bloody stupid. And I have no idea why your fiance was directed to another store - "sorry, we've been told not to possibly accidently engage in a minor infringement of copyright law, but if you drive across town to another, identical store they might be".

Games and Stuff.

If you can read this, you're too close.
