I sometimes used to watch The Word when I really wasn't quite old enough to get most of it.

Remember seeing a bit of it with someone getting their stomach pumped (after eating a curry and drinking a pint of lager) and then they challenged anyone in the audience to drink it to win £100, they actually got someone to do it too

Was it The Word which had a segment called "Freak or Unique"? where people would show off their interesting and often disgusting 'talents'.

I vaguely remember seeing someone stick a rubber glove fully over their head and inflate it to the point of bursting using a single lungful of air.
