They had an article in the Times this week about how sales in Japan have plummeted and they feared the same may happen over here. It was unusual to see an article about games in the business section of the Times.

Apprently the advertising from SOny like everywhere else is non existant and with the relatively small user base for a New Ip it was expected which is a pity as Sony is just pissing one of the best games released this year away with the lack of advertising.

It's not done that badly for itself. And it's a game that should have a long shelf-life, as word of mouth spreads.

It's a shame about Little Big Planet. I don't understand why the marketing for the game has been so lacklustre.

Not next week, but in two weeks (The LR is out on 20 November).

I hadn't realised that Microsoft had responded to the PS3 price-cut by bundling the 360 with Ace Combat 6 and Beautiful Katamari (for the same price as a standard 60gb 360), so that should give the 360 an easy win when LR appears. Look out for FIFA, Resistance 2 and Way of the Samurai 3 on PS3 next week.
