Although there are some brilliant games on that list. Astro's Playroom, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Ratchet & Clank, Control, Kena, Sackboy - were all incredible games. I LOVE my PS5!

I don't think anything has come close to Demon's Souls yet though. Absolutely stunning game. Can't wait to see what Bluepoint do next. Hope the Bloodborne Remake/Sequel rumours are true.

I went for Returnal, Astrobot and Ratchet. All were excellent with Returnal a real highlight.

I've also enjoyed Bugsnax, Sackboy, Deathloop, Miles Morales, Valhalla, and even Watchdogs Legion...

My three were

Worth saying I got platinum on all three games

Oh man, this list is great. Makes me realise what an amazing year my PS5 and I have had. Hard to pick just three favourites from that list really. In the end I went for the below but it really is a fantastic lineup and I'm upset you made me pick favourites.

Hitman 3
Final Fantasy VII

Personally I would expect more from a next gen console but know some games have been delayed due to covid.

Looking forward to Horizon, GOW, GT7 and Elden Ring

It kinda feels like Returnal may possibly be a little divisive; plenty of folk appear to have hugely enjoyed it whilst others have perhaps indicated that it's a little too challenging. It's good that you loved it, fry!

Bugsnax! I "claimed" the game before I had a PS5 but I've yet to try it out and I believe a big update is coming this year. I saw Legion streamed by DarkRula and it did seem to be a lot of fun.

Village has its scary moments, but is more of an action adventure game, especially later on. I'd say it's close to RE4 in that regard.

I voted for 3 console exclusives in Deathloop, Miles Morales & Ratchet, but in all honesty I think Astro’s Playroom might have been the most fun I’ve had.
