Returnal is the best game available on PS5, it's disappointing that it doesn't seem to have gone on sale (I don't really count dropping to £50 as a sale!) so that more people will give it a go.

I also voted for Deathloop and Demon's Souls, although on another day could have picked any of MM, Astro and Village.

I think the PS5 has been great but completely get why some people are frustrated with the lack of exclusives, it is a little annoying that even this year a lot of the big games to be released are going to be cross-gen.

Yeah, I feel that the pricing is a big factor, sawyer. It's difficult as Returnal reviewed well and seemed to get a generally positive reception from most folk talking about it (although the difficulty and the initial "no saving" aspect had a few critics) but, even so, seventy quid feels like a big ask. As we approach a year since release, I'd like to try it but I can't see myself spending anything over £35 to get it now.

I bought Returnal for £39.99 before Christmas from Smyths. I'm sure it will go down under £40 again soon.
