What are your favourite games on PS5 so far?

With the PS5 having been around - albeit in lower quantities then we'd like! - for over a year now, let's take a look back over the games that have launched during this time. Which ones have you enjoyed the most and have set themselves out as your favourites?

The exclusives really. I forgot I even have sackboy, I really need to carry on playing that.

I wanted to vote for Astro as part of my options, but needed to reserve one for PMSL

I've been slow in getting into PS5; I like the system but the only game I've really played much of during the past six months is F76 on my Pro. On PS5 I've briefly dabbled with Astro (great!), No Man's Sky (great!), Godfall (good!) and Avengers (good!), but that's about it. Gonna try and put some time into using the console these coming months.

Deathloop, Astro's Playroom, and Hitman 3 - although that's not next gen exclusive so it's hard to count.

The best game in the poll is Hades but I don't and wouldn't play it on PS5.

I'd like to get Returnal if it ever drops to a reasonable price considering how long it has been out.

It's added Ray Tracing that really gives it that next gen wow factor!

I went with Astro (Hands down still the best actual PS5 experience imo) along with Immortals: Fenyx Rising and Miles Morales, both of those I got in the PS5 launch window and were great experiences and looked puuuuurdy!

Death Stranding DC probably. I am really enjoying Ratchet & Clank though.

Yeah, I'd be keen to give it a go at a lower price, too; probably £35 rather than £70.

Astro sure is a brilliant way to show off the DualSense, Milner! It's kinda disappointing that nothing(?) since has really matched up to that for using the controller's tech.

I have Fenyx and hope to give it a spin soon :-).

I did... on the PS4! I enjoyed it in spite of how long I played it for, rather than playing it for so long because I was enjoying it - the game is far too big. 40 hours would have been more than enough and much better than the 120 it took me.

I'm sure it's still fine, the game is just firmly a portable game for me. I could imagine it on PC, still being close to the screen and given its small text PC-feel menus, but it's just not the kind of game I'd choose to play on a console sat on the sofa far from the TV. That's not to say others wouldn't of course!

I get you, man! Tiny text in games is a real bane of mine; I can only assume that most game devs sit around two feet away from a 65-inch screen as it can otherwise be so hard to read the text.

Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade
Astro's Playroom
Kena Bridge of Spirits
Immortal Fenyx Rising
Spider-Man Miles Morales
Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

Returnal - not yet to start it but I will soon.

It's hard to pick which are my faves, but I'd say Kena Bridge of Spirits, Astro's Playroom and Sackboy A Big Adventure that I've enjoyed them a lot.

Rift Apart was fantastic too.

BOR, yes, Astro sure is a great way to showcase the PS5! I'm interested in Sackboy; I wasn't a big fan of the earlier games on PS3 but, having watched a few vids/reviews of this PS5 version, it does look to be fun, and so I'd like to try it out once the price drops.

Enjoyed mostly Fenyx, Wrc10, Dirt 5 and Diablo 2

In the back log, Ratchet, Spiderman, Returnal, Tales of arise, Greedfall, Death Stranding, Kena

Not sure what I'll get this year but hopefully will try Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk at some point.

I hate Little Big Planet and I wasn't sure if I would like Sackboy, but it was a completely different game! It was a decent platformer which did surprise me and the co-op was great. I think they did give out a trial last October and you could keep an eye on it just in case they do it again.
