I disagree. Years ago I gave up on that series halfway through reading it.

I tried again last year and blasted through them all as I absolutely loved them.

So you agree then? :-)

There’s something to be said about the efficacy of piracy here - if I hadn’t downloaded the first ten parts for free, I would never have purchased the last few, nor many other titles since... not that it did the author any good, but the publishers must surely be better off.

I have nothing to add to this thread other than +1ing several shows already mentioned: Frasier, Red Dwarf, Futurama, Arrested Development 1-3, classic Simpsons, Blackadder 2-4, Black Books, Star Trek TNG.

On the topic of Friends, I still sometimes put it on in the background as it's always on TV, but I much prefer the earlier seasons. I find Monica becomes increasingly annoying as the show goes on.

I always try and watch the Star Wars films every year, as I just find them great to watch. Same with Harry Potter [films and books]. There's a range of stuff that I'll enjoy whenever it comes on TV such as a few of those mentioned above [Back to the Future, Short Circuit, Home Alone, and the like], along with the whole range of my DVD collection including the likes of Pixar films, Shrek, Madagascar, Ice Age, Bolt. Perhaps the prize of the collection in rewatching is The Magic Roundabout, which introduced me to several music bands along with the loveable cast it has.

Always enjoy Fawlty Towers whever that's on, and though I haven't rewatched it yet, I'm pretty sure The Brittas Empire will be just as enjoyable as before [though possibly more so as I won't be within the world of Skyrim while watching it]. I don't really watch much TV, though with sub-services such as Netflix and DisneyLife I'm able to rewatch a few. Having a blast to the past currently with The Suite Life and Zack and Cody. And my double duty of Power Rangers in the form of Dino Thunder and SPD - which never fail in keeping me invested throughout.
