I'm re-watching The Expanse from the beginning (I'm up to series 2 episode 6) after buying series 3 on blu ray and I'm just as enthralled as I was the first few times I watched it. It's pretty much the perfect Sci-Fi for me with an amazing cast set in a pretty realistic universe with an amazing story to tell.

I really love the show and if you haven't watched it then you really do need to give it a try as season 1 and 2 are on Netflix and you honestly won't regret it.

So, what series can you watch and just fall in love with again and again?

A lot of comedies are like this. I could rewatch Peep Show and IT Crowd pretty much indefinitely (and do).

I actually enjoy most things more the second time through. Surprise is unique to your first experience, but the new perspective you get to approach with afterwards usually makes things more interesting for me. I'm planning to watch Deadwood again soon after seeing it for the first time about 5 years ago and I'm just as excited for that as I am for stuff that's completely new.

I’ve just finished rewatching Battlestar Galactica. It’s not flawless by any means, but when it’s good it is really bloody good!

I rewatch a bunch of TV shows on a loop. The Office (US), Frasier, Futurama, Simpsons, Friends are my go tos because I like comedy and the ability to drop in and out of familiar scenes with fresh perspective. I do also dabble in others but like, my comfort zone is very much the first two.

ER

Watched the whole series several times over the years from start to finish and it's brilliant every time.

I spent my bank holiday rewatching this for something like the 5th time. Brilliant stuff.

I've got seasons 4 - 9 of The Simpsons and have been watching through them for the last few weeks, and halfway through season 8. There's been a definite shift in the directing/story style which makes some jokes feel more forced in the last season or so, but it's still got some brilliant moments.

And I've got Arrested Development 1-3 lined up ready to re-watch again soon, probably will start next weekend. Can't wait, not seen it in over 5 years.

EDIT: I fancy watching Avatar: TLAB for the 3rd time soon, too. Brilliant series.

I'm rewatching ER with my daughter (it's her first time watching). We've binged the first 2 seasons in the last 2 weeks, and are now on to season 3.

It first aired in 24 years ago, yet it holds up so well. The writing, direction and acting are all top notch.

Amazing to think that they even found a way to strawberry float with the classics. (Sky One broadcasts classics eps in a kind of fake HD which crops the image and over saturates the colours.)

There are hardly any series I actually watch twice. Even my all time favourite in Star Trek TNG I only watch a handful of episodes now and then of my particular favourite episodes.

Back in the day I used to watch Quantum Leap every time it was re-run, but that was through lack of choice in the years of no on demand and only network schedules to work with.

An oddball one, but if Gold started showing Neighbours again from the start, I could probably get invested in that
