Just got capsized during a raft race!

I was in a raft race today and another team decided to swim over and capsize our raft.
We told them to stop it but they didn't listen and we couldn't actually physically injure them with our paddles.
So ended up in the water! Two team members got stuck briefly under the raft which was very dangerous.
I ended up swallowing some water!! Later on my team mate saw a condom in the water so obviously it is not clean water.

I was so angry that I went to report them to the judges and then went on the warpath and shouted at them. One of them tried to blame it on my team saying one of my guys had attempted to capsize them which was not the case. Absolutely disgusting trying to accuse us.
One then said its only fun, spirit of a raft race etc! I said throwing water and eggs is one thing by flipping someone's raft is not acceptable and dangerous!
I said I would be speaking to their manager and stormed off.

Was this during the race or afterwards? Maybe consider taking this to the court of arbitration for sport if this was during the race. This is disgusting behaviour and must be stopped otherwise raft races will be ruined world over as people start capsizing others boats. I don't want my child to grow up in a world where he can't race rafts fairly.

I like getting flipped over in a raft, it's the most fun part. Especially in hot weather. I've done rafting three times now, the first two were fantastic fun, the last time not so great as I had a bunch of wankers from Saudi Arabia in my boat. Me and this French guy were all up for having a laugh but these fools were behaving like its the first time they'd ever seen water. Whenever we went past another boat they insisted on playing splashy splashy fun time. Which is all grand jolly fun but when you do it every 5 minutes for 4 hours straight you'd be surprised how quickly you'd lose patience with it.

Didn't help that as well as being idiots they couldn't paddle for gooseberry fool either. One of their number decided it would be good fun to shout on every paddle but in being totally strawberry floating useless rather than paddle he would just splash the person behind in the face. I pointed this out to him about 3 hours in which caused him to sulk for the next hour. Regardless of these fools it wasn't the best either because we had a pretty poor instructor and the river was so rocky and so full of rafts it was just constant stopping and starting.

Overall 5/10, Enjoyed the activity but not the fools I had to do it with.

Rafting is serious business.

Try to keep your cool about things mate. You don't want to barge in and have everyone pontoon and laughing at you.

People who I work with did it find funny that I kicked off. I know what u mean and thank you but I seriously believe I have a valid reason to be as angry and serious about this situation as I am.

They flipped in your raft in what I presume was - at most, was it even a competition - a race purely for fun, and you swallowed some water :cry:

If I did that while just joking around with some workmates and some banana split reported me to management I'd be livid. And what are management gonna do? They'll probably think it's more pathetic you put a complaint in.
