I'm a Div 3 Scout/Soldier, which puts me roughly in the top 30% of competitive TF2 players (seeing how Divs 4-6 are so much bigger).

I'm also a member of the 'pros only' game-matching thingy.

Yes.

Yeah, I'm alright at most games. Everything except ice hockey titles really. Lord, I strawberry floating suck at ice hockey.

I think it's fair to say I'm very good at racing games and I wouldn't be out of touch to say I was a dab-hand at certain FPS or TPS games. No a slouch when it comes to action adventure games either.

I'm competent at most games. Give me enought time and I might even be pretty good at it.

But I can't play football games. I bloody hate them. I never have control of the ball, can never do what I want to once I do have the bloody thing and in PES have a terrible habit of hitting lob instead of shoot.

You'd have thought practice would help.

You'd have thought wrong.

I thought getting 200/200 on Pacman CE was something to be proud of until I saw the online leader boards. :(

Since getting FIFA 09 earlier this year I've realised I'm utter sh*t at it (currently on a losing streak of 6. Worst losing streak is 11, best winning streak is, er, about 3), and I'm not afraid to admit it. I also got pretty good at Burnout Revenge, getting a world rank of just over 1,000 at one point, and learned to mix it with the best at times. Trouble was, as with most games, I'm bloody inconsistent. Amongst my friends though, I usually always win on Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64, Perfect Dark and Double Dash. And they know it, as well, which is always amusing!

One of my greatest online achievements was on CoD:WaW, free-for-all (can't remember the name of the level). I won that game in around 6 minutes, 30 kills and two deaths! So proud of that even though it's a game! I even got accused of being too good at it because I'm "German" (my gamertag likes to confuse people). Lolz.

There's no need to be here any longer than necessary. Let's split up, look for survivors, and get out of here.

I have a gaming blog too. Read it if you wish; if you don't I won't take it too personally. Metro 2033 is shite!

My ability varies between shite to very poor :( Oh well, it makes games last a long time - good value for money !

Good enough to play most games to completion on normal difficulty or higher, which is as good as I need to be to enjoy my games. I view games more as recreation than 'challenge', so I don't particularly care how skillful I am, although I know games become more enjoyable as you become more adept at them.

Despite what my name would suggest, I'd like to think that I am at least above average at most of the games that I own.

I haven't got 200/200 on OutRun, I'm currently at 145 with 3 left to get...I mean I probably will get them, but I haven't yet.

RoughOutline already has 200 though, despite not having as good scores as me on the Leaderboard.

Didn't it take you around 100 hours to finish Resident Evil 4?

That's hilarious

I'm rarely above competent at games. As I said before, Ghost Valley 1 on Super Mario Kart was a rare exception for me and I was always pretty handy with Lokomotiv Moscow (for whatever reason) on Pro Evo 5. Then there were the Oddjob days...

In terms of difficulty, if a game has an easy mode i'll always do that first and perhaps go through on a harder difficulty later when i have more of a chance. The structure of a game such as Dead Rising or Resident Evil 5 suits me perfectly as I don't mind replaying a good game and my power-ups carry over.

Did I ever mention how I was No 2 in the world on Flatout on one of the carnage events?

I'm not all that good to be honest. Except online shooters, where when I play well, I'm rather good. I'm inconsistent though, so that lets me down.

I've had a few World Records on DiRT and MS2. I also was pretty damn good at MGS2 Substance.

Pity about your Motorstorm 2 skillz, though.
