Goddamn, that scene in the dark this week! Superb stuff. And Boon just gets creepier and creepier. Tim on the phone was a great highlight too.

I can't believe it's over.

That was....perfection. Just a wonderful way to end it, especially that final scene. Almost got a tear out of me towards the end. Almost.... And the very last 2 lines... beautiful.

It was a very unconventional finale but all the better for it. I'm glad Raylan, Boyd AND Duffy made it out alive :wub:

After Deadwood and now Justified I'm not sure we'll get dialogue this good in a TV show ever again.

Gonna miss this show something bad! :cry:

That ended on a real high note - delighted they managed to keep the quality up all season long.

I just caught up with the final two episodes. Loved it, perfect end to the show.

I loved every minute. I was expecting there to be the showdown near the end with Boone, I'm glad they didn't.

I also thought the end scene with Boyd and Raylan was so well done.

I really would like to see Timothy Olyphant and Walt Goggins in another series together, maybe this time as compadres.

Perfection.

Good end to a great season. I'll stand by 2 & 4 being better than this season, but it really did feel satisfying.

Oh and I think we saw just enough Boone to keep him interesting.

A great season to end on and easily my favourite since 3. Final scene was glorious.

I might go for a rewatch just to confirm, but I think I definitely have to slot season 6 in to the top spot. Especially given how much of a recovery job they managed from last season. The finale really was so so satisfying.

None of the seasons were bad in any way, though. 5 was disappointing, especially the Ava stuff, but that's are far as I would go. The second half of season 1 was also top drawer once Boyd got released from prison and it became the serialized show we know and love.

Got any recommendations for stuff to fill the Justified hole now it's gone? I haven't seen Deadwood so I'd imagine that's the obvious choice.

If it's flowing dialogue you're after then watch Deadwood for sure. Very different type of show, though, and you could argue that Timothy Olyphant is actually the worst thing about it.

Finally got round to watching the last few episodes and like the Hannibal finale it was a truly satisfying end to the show. Final scene in particular was lovely.
