Have you played Gaia Crusaders? That's a fairly interesting beat 'em up featuring enemies as diverse as tombstones, Gollum and anthropomorphic wolves with seemingly massive tits.

I have played it a little.. its not a game I have a massive history with or anything but from what I have played it was pretty cool..

My Next Arcade Review will most likely be the Arcade Version of Aliens Versus Predator ... I have recorded footage for it and done some work towards it so unless anything else slips its way in my schedule that games next

I've never seen too much of the Neo Geo (arcade or the AES home console) in action but the tech power is very impressive. This really was like having an arcade system in your home! I recall seeing the (imported) games advertised in mags at crazy prices. As you say, kerr, it's amazing that we can now run emulated versions of these games on modern consoles; this game on Switch/PlayStation/Xbox is around six quid :-).

An interesting vid, dude - it'd be cool to see more Neo Geo stuff. I love that "The 100 Mega Shock" boot-up message!

I am glad you enjoyed the video... I kind of made it because I thought I hadn't made an Arcade or gaming Video in quiet awhile.

I actually owned a Neo Geo AES Home System for a few months when I was around 16... got the option to buy one at a very good price and got about 4 games with it.... the problem was I couldn't afford a second stick or any other games or a memory card, so had a good few months playing on it then sold it for a profit, the money going back in to more affordable gaming.

I also owned a Jamma Arcade Machine that I converted into a MVS Neo Geo... I still have the MVS arcade board and about 8 Arcade Carts but no arcade machine for them to go in.... You can buy stuff to make these playable on a regular TV but with the ease of emulation I just don't see the point (id love another arcade machine if I had the room) I will probably review more Neo stuff in the future but not enough to give it its own thread.

Oh, man, that must have been awesome. Yeah, it sure was an expensive system to buy for, though!

Years ago I briefly had a moment of thought about getting a Jamma system but I decided that my electronics knowledge just wasn't enough for that kind of setup. It looks so cool but I think you need the skills to setup and maintain that system. As you say, emulation is probably more suitable for most folk.

I always enjoy seeing you throw different stuff into the mix, kerr!
