I've had 99 Vidas for so long (PC.) I actually grabbed 4 copies and gave 3 to other people. Have we played it? Have we strawberry float.

I grabbed it for switch as it was on sale for like £1.29 or something like that, I have really enjoyed playing it, never heard of it before I was scrolling through the eShop

Killer Puzzle is a fun game I played it on iOS, it's sort of a sequel to another game I think although I forget the name.

EDIT: It's called Slayaway Camp.

Cheers for revies venture kid looks like something I might be interested in.

Kerr if you like retro looking jumpy-about games you maybe interested in KidTripp and Miles-and-Kilo. I quite enjoyed them and they are always on eshop for like no money - have you played either of them?

There both games I had looked at but not got , if there still on sale I might grab them based of your recommendation. At the moment I have spent a lot of my gaming time and energy trying to get a collection of 50 loose famicom carts I'm currently at 44 and playing around with a Pandora's box 5S my next video might be about the Pandora's box

Nice work, kerr! Your voice was clear and well-paced; and the audio levels in terms of your speech and the game sound were spot-on. I wasn't familiar with the game and it was neat to hear your assessment. I always enjoy simple gameplay mechanics that gradually build into something more complex.

Thank you very much for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the review. Yeah I like the stuff that's so simple you can play it in seconds but then builds its way up till it's challenging you

These short burst reviews of the more obscure eshop games are really handy (what this animal crossing :slol: ). Video Kid looks like a lot of fun - never heard of it but think I may have to pick it up sometime. I will get round to hotline miami too, I know people here rave about it (think I might wait till the isolation has finished and save it for the work commute as that one looks like a nice one to play in handheld mode).

I wasnt going to bother with the Animal Crossing review but I love the game so figured what the heck but basically no one has watched that one lol

Hotline Miami is great I remember playing the heck out of it on my Vita , its good for short bursts but its also hard to put down so you end up playing it for far longer chunks of time than youd expect.

I tend to like to try and keep my videos short in general if you look through my channel a lot of my stuff is pretty short horror film reviews, snes reviews etc ... I spent a lot of time doing longer ones like my Sunset Riders and Punchout ones which have a lot more in them a lot higher effort and editing etc and they just didnt get the views so I figured people want short and punchy reviews.

Someone doesn't love Untitled Goose. That's fair enough - I loved it but I think there is a bit of 'you had to be there at the time' for me, I got it at launch which just after I joined this forum and bought a switch and it was the first time I played a video game in ages and just before I really got into video games. Nintendo consoles make memories and enjoying a game released by a small publisher, that had a cult following and reading glowing reviews and seeing how much fun people on here were having with it made for a pleasant experience.

But I think if you got into a bit after the first wave of release hype knowing how well loved it was, there might be a feeling of 'this was what all the fuss was about?'

It was such a happy, funny experience on my first play through - but I personally couldn't quite recapture the positive feelings I had towards the game when I tried to pick it up later. Its interesting you say they were going for a non-violent hitman type game. Thats how I thought of it, but my only real complaint about the game is that they didn't quite hit that mark. There wasn't much freedom in how you achieve the tasks - it would have been nice [if like hitman] there were opportunity for multiple, creative ways of completing the tasks using the environment.

Nice review again.

I almost didnt do a review of it because I know its a very well liked game but I think it kind of shows that your honest if your willing to champion a disliked game if you love it and give a kicking to a game considerd good if you dont like it.... I deffinetly think your right in that it can effect your opinion if a game is hyped, I also think it can be true the other way if you constantly hear something sucks and then you play it and think hey actually this is not so bad.

I get that a lot with games and films and often end up quite liking stuff that gets critically panned and maybe part of that is my mind is over correcting how harsh some reviews can be and I'm giving it too much credit for not being awful (example I really quite enjoyed the film 'Last Christmas'). Too many reviews deal only in absolutes and I often find that middling non-offensive pieces of culture are made out to be the worst thing ever.

Thats why I like your reviews it was 5 out of 10 game for you but you didn't feel the need to counter the over praising reviews with a terrible review and just gave it a honest 'its nice quite for me review'.

I picked up a few cheap-don't-know-anything-about-them-yet indie games for switch which I will get into. Have you played First Tree, Pikuniku or subsurface circular?
