Jesus Christ be praised, Henry has come to see us! :o

Full reveal:

Points from the video:
• KCD2 is being made by a 250 person dev team, compared to KCD's 10 person team, which did grow to over 100 by development's end.
• Map is about twice the size of KCD. It might be two maps which add up to a total area twice that of the first game, the video isn't super clear about that.
• Features the first major medieval city environment in the series (Kuttenberg), in which a significant portion of the game will take place. KCD only featured small villages and towns.
• Crossbows and early firearms finally make their long awaited appearance. Many fans bemoaned their absence from KCD.
• Combat system seems to have been refined, though it's a bit hard to tell without seeing a proper gameplay demo.

I think it looks great - gorgeous visuals, a sumptuous score, a much better NPC interaction system, and the scope is so much bigger this time. The devs' vision for the original game will be properly realized in this one, it sounds like.

I picked up the Royal edition of the first game in an Xbox sale about a month ago but have not played it yet. From what I understand if this type of game clicks with you it's unlike anything else out there.

Seemed like it was worth a shot for £4. Would be nice if it got a Series / PS5 patch though.

Are you me?

I've always fancied giving it a go but didn't want to spend too much on a game that I know isn't for everyone, but at that price it felt rude not to!

We will have to report in on our progress. Quite when I will get around to starting it however remains a mystery.

I have the first game on Series X and I really want to like it but I find any time a fight breaks out I get absolutely mullered. I keep looking for the sword fighting trainer but he’s nowhere to be found.

Wikipedia suggests it's the same director, yeah.
