I'm gonna bet buying enough food/powerups

But have you done the target times on the hard tilt game?

Ah, I'm on the post-credit purple filter stages, I have all the waddles and have hit all the target times on star road and have collected most of the collectibles in the main [pre-credit] levels. If its " buying enough food/powerups " to 100% I may not bother attempting it but I'll probably end up in the frustratingly close high-90s.

So from what I've pieced together on the internet there's a bunch of possible endings post credits; Normal, True, Secret, 100%. So I'm going for Secret and True endings - As a minimum I need to get at least 250 of the 300 soul shards to unlock Forgo and defeat Forgo Leon, Morpho Knight Chaos Elfilis so bascially if I complete the final level in the post credit game - I should naturally get the True and Secret endings?

I think the last thing I need to do is finish that final cup still. I'm on 95% lol

What kinda question is that, who do you think I am?

OrangeRKN wrote:I'm gonna bet buying enough food/powerups

It was this, which is bullshit because my thought process actually was there's a figure for each special waddle dee once you've completed pretty much all they have to offer. Bought one of everything, hadn't even looked at these stores before now. Nothing. Cover up your hint, reading one word at a time, see "buying enough", boy have I had enough. Buy a couple more maxim tomatos and health boosts and there ya go. Imo, that's a very tiny, minor blemish on an otherwise all-round solid game.

It's not that much at all, just do it.

Welp that's it. 100%. 18.5 hours. Special thanks to BroKN for that last hint. It will haunt me for life. Will say the percentage calculation is weird tho - had 98% with like half the figures, had all but one figure and it was still 98. 99% unachievable??? Super fun game.

Will probably keep playing, do that no copy ability, no deaths, no items cup run challenge for lols. Probably stream it so you can watch my suffering.

I read that if you then jump through a window past that tomato you can play an alternate version of the level? Not tried it myself. It's kind of cool there are a few extra parts of the game not required for 100% (like some bonus rooms in levels that don't hide waddle dees and lots of places coins are hidden as little bonuses).

It will literally take less than a minute, don't worry!

Beat the post game then beat the final tournament that unlocks.

Nah it made sense to me - there is a figure for every special NPC so that was the first thing I tried when I saw I had them left. Glad it helped anyway!

I'm loving the remixed post-credit stages, its super handy you're told when you've got every soul shard in an area

Yeah, if it didn’t let you know which sub areas had / had not been cleared out it would be infuriating.

It wouldn't be so bad if you could exit the level after you found the missing ones. Typically you'd forgo the "you found them all" in favour of the "there's still some left here..." on replays, but this way's good too.

Oof I found a fun secret in world 4

At the start of the level, go to the maxim tomato on the left side hidden away, then go up. You'll find a secret room. Then go to the star and you'll end up on the top parts of the bridge, fighting "twin" bosses instead of just one on the main bridge. I don't remember there being any health up there. You can actually find all the waddle dees this way too (there's access to the areas to find them after you've beaten the bosses). It felt like hard mode of the level.

I'm guessing someone else on here probably posted it up before or found it before, but i just found it pretty neat!

We were talking about that a few pages ago, most of us admitting we needed a guide to find it, so well done for finding it yourself!

Got the True ending today, but not sure I have the fortitude to try that 3 form final boss again. Can you have all the different items activated at once? Or would the life up replace attack up etc?

I’m at 94%, which makes me want to push through, but not at the expense of falling out with the game.

You can have all the items on at once.

What do you need for true ending?

The biggest problem I have with this game is the lack of Waddle Doos. Why didn't they put them in, they're adorable T_T

Not sure if there's an English version of this, but this is adorable.

Ah cool cheers. You have to roll credits on the post game forgotten world stuff (not the colosseum).

I'm trying so hard to get all waddle dees as I go, but Sillydillo is an ass at the moment. I'm guessing drill is best for him?
