I think it was probably more the 3 punches while he was on the deck that caused the jaw breakage. I thought there was rules against that.

It does seem a little like one of those 'lucky' one in a million punches there, but even for UFC was it really necessary for him to batter him when on the ground...blatantly he'd been knocked for six. Skillful knockout or not...

That video is a good example of why UFC isn't a proper sport. It's just violence. He smashed his head off the canvas while he was clearly strawberry floated. Boxing is the only proper fighting sport, because unlike UFC it actually requires technical skill and isn't barbaric.
