I'd happily take a clue

If you’ve gotten the ‘bad’ ending and explored the rest of the available map, you’ll have come across the red moon in the fight with Gabel, now where else have you see that during your time with the game?

Hope that helps.

On the train, I think you sit or you look out of the window.

It shows out of the window.... Keep watching... Then in time a creature appears then boom. Jump scare and a fight. Only way to get 100% of all enemies.

Wish my image sig would work

Hmm, there was an area in the garden that had a red moon earlier in the game but it's not there now?

Have you been back to check? I thought it came back after you defeated Gabel.

I've completely missed that myself. Will definitely check that out when I next play.

Is anyone else constantly reminded of Jack Black whenever Gebel's name is said in dialogue? I hear it and my mind goes straight to Jables every time.

I tend to skip most of the dialog (well I read the text boxes but skip the voice over parts). There's only so much soap opera quality !DRAMATIC! !DELIVERY! I can handle.

Worked out what to do with the red moon last night. Probably as a result of my point above I had not really paid attention to Zangetsu when he gives you his sword to cut the moon :fp: Really enjoying the new area, was hoping for a bit of a twist like this to mix things up a bit.

Defeated the Master Carpenter and Valefar - both of these were rendered essentially trivial by the use of the Invert shard. It really doesn't feel like the game was balanced with this in mind at all!

Nice, I'm at around 95 I think. Have mooched back around some of the older areas since getting the shard that reveals secret breakables walls and have the feeling there are going to be a few annoying areas to find!

100% items will probably be tricky as well - I've already picked up a few in some really devious locations!

I'm at 99.20percent now, so maybe the rest is just doing the boss as I can't see anywhere else to go , I won't be on it again till at least Friday though as the other halfs having an operation on her leg miles away from where we live and we have decided not to take switches , I'm just going to take my old scratched up 2ds instead as if I lost my switch I'd go nuts if I loose a 2ds it will suck but I'll probably just shrug.

Got what I am assuming is the good ending now (although I guess there may be another one for getting 100% on everything?). Didn't realise I was heading into the final boss room so ended up on only 99% map completion. I am assuming it will let me go back to my save now that I have finished it so I can mop up the remaining stuff?

Really, really enjoyed this! :toot:

I think I may have been underleveked for the final boss as it was bloody tough. Still strawberry floated its gooseberry fool up though.

I think I was at about level 50 when I hit the last boss, not sure where that stands on the grand scheme of things but it was a piece of piss and he went down on the first try.

That is my main criticism of the game I think - it seems very easy to become over powered without all that much effort. By the end I could hit with 200+ damage from each attack, let rip with magical attacks that would devastate everything in the room and had MP that regenerated almost instantly!

I think I was 44, maybe. It far from easy, but was beatable... Eventually. I enjoyes it though, I think it being too easy would have ruined it for me, I like a fair challenge.

Yeah the lack of challenge toward the end was a bit of a downer for me, almost wanted there to be some ultra hard optional bosses or something to keep the challenge up.

On the other hand it was fun to be able to just wander around the castle and utterly destroy anything that came across my path!

Against the final boss I think I was doing about 120 damage. So you must've had some cracking gear.

I was using the Zangesuto mostly toward the end, although my trusty Steam Boots still got a look in as I just love the rapid speed of kick attacks.

I think the shards were the biggest factor in damage output toward the end - I had fully upgraded a bunch of skill shards (Augment STR, Greatsword Expertise, Optimiser etc.) and they massively increased the power of my weapons.

Love this game. Just fought alfred and got the water shard so loads has just opened up. Also found the secret 8bit level which was cool but tough.
