From a now removed product support page on Rockstar’s website:

Play the genre-defining classics of the original GTA Trilogy: GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas updated for a new generation, now with across-the-board enhancements including brilliant new lighting and environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, GTA 5-style controls and targeting, and much more, bringing these beloved worlds to life with all new levels of detail.

They are definitely improving things, then. Should be good.

Well, at least it sounds ever so slightly less barebones than we initially thought…..

The GTA V controls alone will transform the game. If you go back to them, the gunplay makes them almost unplayable.

I really want this to be good; I'm well up for re-visiting these three titles in the form of remakes. I'm dreaming of the games being presented in the style that we've seen with some of the PC game mods over the past decade.

But, dang it, I'm also ready for Rockstar to pump out versions that look like mildly enhanced upscales of my original Xbox copies.

I'm caught between a raging storm of pessimism and a slim band of optimism. It's an odd feeling as I kinda know which way it's gonna go (dat negativity :datass: ) but I'm still holding onto a thin but bright strand of hope (dat belief :datass: ).

I wonder if they have added in more cars and people in the environments

Well it looks like R* are improving things after all. I'm a tad more interested now, but still not at £70 if that place holder is to believed.

Don't be fooled. You expected Rockstar to do the absolute minimum. Turns out they are doing slightly more than the absolute minimum. It's still not worth £70 or praising.

With GTA 5 controls, some of the ridiculous difficulty spikes should be pretty much solved.

The updated controls are a major selling point but also the minimum to be expected.

I highly doubt the game will look much better than the previously released trilogy on the ps4

How about all 3 maps on one disc and you can travel between them in game. The biggest GTA ever.

Fifty-five quid for PC... so... maybe sixty-five for consoles? *Definitely* waiting for screenshots, vids and reviews before thinking about getting this.

Bit strange then that with the launch date imminent that they've still not shown off a single screenshot or video trailer.

If these do well in terms of sales, watch Liberty City and Vice City Stories become paid DLC.

Yeah but it's 20th year anniversary today.

Hopefully we will see some screenshots or even a trailer today.

If it looks and plays like the latest then I’m all for it. Chances of that happening? Zilch.

I really didn't like the controls in GTAV, feels like R* are still lightyears behind other teams when it comes to enjoyable, responsive 3rd person player controls.

Also it's crazy to think that when this comes out we will be further from the year GTA3 was set (2001) than we were from the year Vice City was set (1986) when that game first came out! GTA3 is still a "contemporary" setting in my head!

You’d have thought we’d get some sort of screenshots or gameplay in the next few days if this is coming out on the 11th of November, although when you click on Xbox or PS4 it says that’s a physical version available on the 6th of December?
