I just watched the trailer. There's obviously been an improvement and I'm definitely more interested now, but I think I'll wait for it to hit the £30 mark down the road.

Unless the performance turns out to be dreadful, I think I'm going to get the switch version of this. The lure of portable GTA is too great. Huge amount of game, which I'm more likely to get through by being able to switch to portable.

Is the Switch physical release the same date as the digital version?

But haven’t Rockstar said physical versions are out early December? Guess that’s another thing we’ll have to wait and see on. I just hope it’s all on one cart for the Switch version, I feel this is one game/collection where Nintendo should happily eat some of the cost of the bigger cartridge, the first mainline GTA games on the platform could do really well for them, plus it’ll be crap if it’s on the smallest cart and then we have to download nearly all of the game anyway.

What I meant was Switch physical version is out at the same time as the others. Physical versions are coming in December.

Hard agree

Nintendo cares only about their bottom line therefore this won't happen. Rockstar also did Switch owners dirty with LA Noire so don't expect them to play ball either; a partial download is absolutely inevitable.

It is odd though, Nintendo’s site states that the card version is out on the 11th of November as well, I expect Rockstar are right on this though. I can see it being a partial download as well, however much I’d like it not to the the case as surely this is going to sell a lot more than LA Noire.

Isn't that how plane flights usually work?

Can't wait for these, might have to break my £20 rule as a rare exception.

I'm really unsure about this. It *does* look a bit better - bar the character faces - but, I dunno, it's not the remake(s) I'd anticipated.

I think I'm gonna wait for confirmation of the music tracks; wait for footage in which they state what system it's running on; and wait for reviews. Right now I think I'd be happier to load 'em up on my OG Xbox again then pay out £55 for these updates.

Instantly restarting a mission is a big change for me (or at least it has the potential to be if done well).

Can see myself playing San Andreas via Game Pass as soon as it becomes available (which is the way to go with any Rockstar stuff on Game Pass - it doesn't seem to hang about).

They're not really remakes, just a high rez clean up with a few nips n tucks. It's no Resident Evil 2.

It's strawberry floating hilarious to me this is £55 when the Crysis Trilogy is £35/£40

Unless they've completely overhauled the combat I don't see how they could be worth that price.

I feel like people have forgot just how awful the combat was.

Save yourself some money and play Shakedown Hawaii if you haven't already.

I would love for Capcom to release the original RE 2 and 3 games in the same way as this GTA release

Oh, absolutely, dude - clean-ups rather than remakes. I'd hoped for the latter and so splashing the cash on 'em isn't very enticing right now. I wish we had more detail in terms of how the games run on each system and - although I do keep bangin' on about it! - what music tracks are (or aren't) included. I really don't want to spoil excitement for folk who are into these remasters, though, and so I'm going to keep quiet now until we see (and hear) the games

Nintendo: we'll never have gta on our console!
Rockstar: but it's a port!
Nintendo: *wrestling guy with red eyes*
