GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition (PS/Xbox/Switch/PC).

Having recently played the remake of Mafia for about 13 quid (that was released at a budget price to begin with) and seen the impressive effort that went into that, if the £70 price actually holds for GTA then anything less than a complete overhaul would be a rip off.

The fact it's scheduled for Switch and they've already said its 'maintaining the classic look and feel' tells me it's going to be more of a Christmas cash grab.

I hope that nobody buys this

I will not be paying £70 for this if it’s just a small update to the original games, definitely one to wait for a sale for, if at all.

No way can that be the price for the Switch version. I wouldn't put it past Zelnick to try it, though. Hopefully it is just a placeholder until more is revealed.

No wonder they are delisting the current digital versions. Absolutely no way will I pay that. Not unless they massively overhaul some of the dated gameplay mechanics. All three games need a decent checkpoint system mid-mission and that's the very, very least of what I expect.

£70 for a 8GB cartridge where you have to download GTA Vice City and San Andreas too :datass:

If it's the same game on PS4 and PS5, then it'll be a bit cheeky to charge £70 PS5.

I suspect it's a placeholder price it's coming to switch and also android next year. Surely no one would pay £70 for a mobile level game with better controls?

If it ends up being a piss take then we have Saints row next year.

The Switch version will be £49.99.
