Usually if your partner is driving it only won't skip to the final destination if he has something important to say, but even then you can skip that by pressing A or X, depending on your console.

I hate how he's just like "that's my management style, I'm passionate!", it's not a 'management style' is it? If the leads don't offer direction and managers just scream, shout, and pace around, that isn't managing, it's just pissing people off, and evidently pushing them over the edge one by one. The only time someone in that article recalls enjoying their work was when management let them get on with it.

She's talking about Brendan McNamara, boss of Team Bondi. After reading about his management style, I'm genuinely regretting buying LA Noire at full price, not because it was a poor game, on the contrary it's probably my favourite game this year. But because of the shabby way employees were treated. I hate to think I've help contribute to his success. Shouldn't have bought a 2nd copy tbh.

Question that I keep forgetting to ask...

The Rockstar Pass that I just missed out on, on the cheap... was I supposed to have had one with a new copy of the game? I got mine on day 1 from HMV but it wasn't sealed and never really bothered with the game until recently.

It does! There is much more variation in the missions and the storyline changes.

I found driving around really immersed me in the 40s era. Besides - in 40s style - there isn't much traffic so it's pretty easy to absolutely blast it around without hitting anything.

I can guarantee that it is the same across the entire games industry. This is the human cost of AAA games.

Except it isn't, otherwise literally no-one would work in it. Yes people are pushed, overtime happens, and crunch happens, but like one of the ex-employees mentions in the article, you can enjoy putting the time in because you enjoy developing games. It's the being treated like total rubbish part while exerting themselves that drove the majority of them away.

You can complete the game and then come back to the street crimes.

Did anyone go for the "all vehicles" achievement? How much of a chore is it?

And I haven't found any of the film reels... I vaguely remember someone saying there is a way to make them appear on the map... Does anyone know about this?

I was thinking about getting all the vehicles and film reels on finishing the story, mainly 'cause I didn't want the game to end, but even on that basis I decided that life is too short.

I think some cars are parked in certain locations during certain missions.... strawberry float that gooseberry fool.

Think Rockstar social club website shows you what you have and not. Going to give it a bash.

Just finished this. Wow, thought it was absolutely fantastic. Loved the way the plot all came together in the end. Left me feeling a bit depressed though, quite a somber tone to the whole game really.

If you mean 'A Polite Invitation' then you are on the second last mission.

Sorry, yeah that's the one! Are they long missions? How long am I likely to need?

Edit: just finished that mission, I like how the story is building up nicely!

How long does the last mission take? I should be able to get it done in about two hours tomorrow evening surely?
