Yes but that's just for content Netflix owns. Spotify has like 99% of all music ever put out. It's really quite a bargain if you are a music fan. The family account for £14.99 works out good value if you need extra accounts, I have one for me, the other half and the kids.

I'm considering ditching Amazon Music in favour of Spotiify as there seems to be a lot more content and the sound quality is a little better too.

edit: to be less inflammatory

i dont want to pay for Spotify because i consider its stranglehold on the music industry bad for most music creators. buy your music or use Bandcamp which gives a lot more to each artist!

Do what I do then and use a hacked version of Spotify which provides all the features of their premium service for a low low monthly payment of £0.00

I still buy most music on CD and have bought a fair amount via Bandcamp.

I think this is going to annoy him even more given the artists get strawberry float all from your approach

Edit: actually I suppose it depends if your plays in the hacked version are registered for artist payment

I prefer to buy my music so Spotify is more of a place of last resort for me, to listen to things I can't find elsewhere. The downside of that is that I have songs albums suddenly unavailable due to rights issues. Oh, I do use it sometimes to find new bands, but then go out and buy the album if I can.

Marilyn Manson - Antichrist Superstar - 9/10

Its just magnificently produced from start to finish, sounds just as good as it did when I first heard it in 1996.

Loses a point for a couple of filler tracks here and there but even then they still add to the overall experience.

It's Lars Ulrich's fault for killing Napster. :x

Krauty, synthy, bass groove rock. Me like a lot. Brean Down is my fave. Overall, a solid 8/10, with the potential to rise. Oo-er!

Only just realised that I get 6 months of free Spotify Premium with my Samsung phone so I'll definitely be trying that out! :toot:

Can't wait to embark on a 6 month odyssey of exploring all the many wild wonderful different types of music they have available on the service.

Either that or y'know just play all the stuff that I already own ad infinitum!

It's actually pretty good for discovering new music without much effort. It makes playlists for you based on what you listen to and I've found a decent number of new artists that way. I assume they have wealth of data on people's listening habits so that drives it.
