Same thing happened to Jurassic Park 3.

Life of the Party - 5/10

After 20 humourless minutes it gets going and has some nice characters and a few funny scenes. Terrible and obvious cameo near the end and a flat ending too. Needed a lot more jokes and to take what was there much further.

Wish my image sig would work

Ravenous. (Les Affamés)

A slightly different take on the zombie genre, one where the zombies, (although they're closer to the infected of 28 Days Later), have a modicum of intelligence and act much like a cult, one that works together to some degree and who hunt in packs.

A genuinely creepy horror, one that's very well made given the obvious low budget.

7/10

Game Night - 7/10

It’s a very predictable and formulaic comedy, but it did what it was supposed to and made me laugh. Meth Damon is a creepy mummy strawberry floater.

Anon. 3/10

Really boring pregnant pauses while tedious graphics overlay over everything throughout.

Would have been great as a black mirror episode but not a full film.

A waste of clive warren.

Bone Tomahawk - 8/10

A pretty good take on the western genre. Could have done without watching that scene though...grim.

I am really desensitised to movie gore, that scene didn’t even make me flinch.

I saw some real nastiness on Ogrish back in the day but that still made my toes go all funny.

Real life gore turns my stomach. Movie gore not at all.

I guess it’s better that way around. I wouldn’t want to be going to the hospital just so I could get excited by the injuries unit. ;)

You must have gone to the Bart Simpson school of movie violence.

I remember someone (possibly Anuerin) on GR posting some nasty gooseberry fool from Ogrish, I still feel traumatised by the photoshopped tits with insect larvae crawling out of the nipples :dread: :capnscotty:

T2. Judgement Day.

One of the greatest movies ever made. Incredible how well it still holds up.

Marvellous stuff. 10/10

Yeah,I didn't even wince at that scene in Bone Tomahawk, but if I saw a real life person get an injection or a footballer get a sore one I'm reaching for the sick bucket.

Rapidly-greying is Mediocre to Average at games :fp:

My Life As A Courgette - 8/10; Fantastic Film, heavy themes in this animation are handled better than most feature films & Ron Swanson from Parks & Recreation plays the detective in the English Dub

Hobo with a Shotgun - 7/10; very enjoyable revenge flick. Rutger Hauer is great as per usual.

Yep, I watched it again last night as well. The visuals are still excellent. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the film, it has you gripped the whole way through.

Dunkirk.

Blah blah didn't watch it at the cinema so it's not the same blah blah. This was a decent film, a bit sanitised in places but entertaining nonetheless. That One Direction guy wasn't gooseberry fool like I thought he'd be.
