I didn't realise it was a true story.

It's based on an alleged ghost incident, which is another way of saying it definitely didn't happen because ghosts aren't real :P

Welcome to me. Another film that sounds more interesting than it actually is. 5

If you like Kristen Wiig, probably a 10 as you get a full frontal shot.

Sinister 2 - 3/10.

Didn't find it remotely scary. Plot was not complicated, but bewildering nonetheless. Avoid.

Rocky Horror – Let’s do the timewarp again (or whatever the strawberry float this gooseberry fool was called) – 1/10

I knew a remake of Rocky Horror would be bad but this was really dreadful. How do you suck all of the joy and fun out of it so badly?

I try and watch this at least once a year, and I'm more and more coming to the conclusion that this is the best film ever made. It's just absolutely without fault, genuinely perfect.

My favourite movie game: Spotting the jurors in other films. But I don't go looking for them, instead I let them come to me. (When I realised who played the cop The Exorcist :o ) I saw Juror 9 (first one to back up Juror 8) in The Fastest Gun Alive t'other day.

The Nice Guys 9/10 Best movie I've seen this year and one of the funniest I've seen in a long time. Sad I didn't bother going to see it on the big screen as I'm pretty sure it bombed. Crow & Gosling are a brilliant double act. Ryan Gosling's reaction to there being free drink made me laugh more than anything else and I laughed QUITE a bit. That man is a becoming a genius at physical comedy.

Swiss Army Man. Holy hell, this is one of the strangest things I've ever seen. Don't even know how to rate it. I definitely enjoyed it, but I'm not sure I actually got it.

Run Lola Run 7/10 An interesting film, and one which was apparently used as research material in the making of Majora's Mask. I like outcome two the most.

The Descent - 5/10

Disappointing, had heard this was good. Crap actresses, crap effects, crap monsters, crap story.

Hostel. Not as gory/horrific as I was expecting. Fairly predictable. 5

I started watching Don't breathe last night. So far, so good. Seems pretty solid. I also still have The Witch to watch (weekend viewing meffinks!)

While I have become used to watching films in more than one sitting, I'm not sure I could do that with a horror. Surely the suspense/build up is shattered, no?

I agree with you mate, but I played football last night and I've also got a heavy cold, so I was shattered. I'll have a quick re-cap later and carry on with the film until the end this time!
