When Smith does his copying thing to Neo, Smith is now connected directly to the Machine God who presumably was able to delete him.

Stuber. This film was hilarious, I really wasn’t expecting much at all. Honestly give it a go. 7/10.

Tenet

Red Dwarf did it better decades ago!

The amount of times I imagined Dave Lister shouting "unrumble!"

Good entertainment. Not as spectacular or intriguing as Inception in my opinion.

Truly awful sound mixing (possibly a technical fault at my cinema as one of the speakers would buzz like an old fridge during certain frequencies) and the soundtrack itself could be described simply as excessive. It is ear-splitting throughout.

Some quite odd acting at times and I simply didn't buy the relationship between our protagonist and the wife.

It's better than I'm making it out to be, though. A technical marvel in parts and you're very unlikely to be bored, at least not the first time you see it.

I really rate Stuber! Just stupid, daft fun. Batista absolutely smashes it, too.

The following post is about Tenet, but there are no spoilers.

I've done a bit of googling on Tenet and almost every single review/post about it mentions the terrible sound mixing, specifically how difficult it is to hear speech over the soundtrack. It is astonishingly poor. How on earth it ended up in the state it did I simply don't know — they can't exactly claim they ran out of time!!

Something else that annoyed me is the way British actors have been used to play two key roles: one a Ukrainian and one an American. Kenneth Brannagh is a magnificent actor, undoubtedly, but vast swathes of his dialogue are very difficult to understand because of the accent he is putting on (also because of the aforementioned diabolical sound mixing).

Why not just use a Ukrainian actor?!

The one playing an American is jarring in that I've seen him in two other things (that one where the Beatles don't exist and The Luminaries) and his characters are so drastically different that it's hard to take him seriously. That's my problem, not his, but I just don't understand why they didn't use an American for the role in the first place.

I'm seeing Tennet on Thursday.

I remember the first few trailers for The Dark Knight Rises had to re do Bane's voice as people struggled to understand him.

Bane wore a face mask before it was cool.

Your Name - 10/10

Just brilliant, definitely makes my top 5 favourite animated films.

I'm not ashamed to admit I got a bit teary eyed at the ending too.

Tenet - No Spoilers.

A good movie here if you can understand it. It's very hard to follow, mostly due to the usual Nolan audio mixing where you can't hear the dialogue in important scenes. They didn't very well explain the central gimmick of the movie, which compounded with the audio issues made it much harder to follow than Inception for me.

I was not really invested in the characters or central premise, so I don't feel I care to try and understand it. Multiple rewatches with subtitles are probably required to get the most out of this film, which was shot and acted beautifully, with an utterly incredible musical score.

It does linger on the mind though...

6/10 with room for growth.

Train to Busan 2. Okay-ish. Crap CGI. Not as great as the superb original. And no trains this time around.

6/10

Bill & Ted Faces The Music. More of the same. Reeves looks so old (stick with the beard!) Too much "whoa." One for the super fans of the original.

6/10

In all seriousness, Angelina Jolie couldn't have been more perfect for the role, the cast list is excellent, and the majority of the locations mostly look the part (though as I was watching her driving the jeep through the jungle, I couldn't help but think 'this needs more Ace Ventura...'), but it rather reminded me of the Pierce(d) Brosnan era James Bonds. He's superb, the scripts however are not.

I appreciated watching it again now more than I did at the time in the cinema, though it's annoying how Angelina Jolie is the better Lara Croft, but the newest Tomb Raider is the better film.

Primal Fear 7/10- Was fine but wasn't really a fan of that subplot which didn't really go anywhere.

Slightly ruined it for myself looked up the cast list during the movie and saw that Ed Norton played 2 characters, though I did for a while think he was going to be a twin.

Tenet - 10/10

Beautifully filmed, amazing cast and it kept me interested all the way through. At points I was a little lost, but a rewatch will sort that.

Surprisingly moving for a Nolan film too. Not inception 2 I had hoped for. But still bloody good.

Wish my image sig would work
