Another good Russel Crowe movie is The Insider which gets overlooked and is underrated

One man's mission to reveal the contents of the next Nintendo Direct in vague hints, Russell Crowe is The Insider.

Promising Young Woman 8/10

Didn't know what to expect, but really enjoyed it. Great performance fro, the lead woman.

The Dissident 6/10- It's probably well made but if you pay attention to Global affairs there's nothing particularly new about the revelations of how evil the Saudi State is.

Fever Pitch (1997) 6/10 - Perfectly enjoyable but nothing particularly special, which has as its background Norwich's 2nd most successful season.

Blank Panther 7/10- Appreciated this more on a second watch. Better than Age of Ultron.

That's not saying much though, Age of Ultron was really dull.

Blade of the Immortal 8.5/10
Brutal and bloody samurai film, very stylish and decent story.

Freaky - 7/10

Good fun, nice and murder-y whilst also being incredibly funny in places.

This film has real heart. And it's the best thing I've seen Crowe in. It also looks absolutely phenomenal still.

Absolutely love Master and Commander, appreciate it even more after watching this:

Six Minutes to Midnight

A good and surprisingly tense spy drama set in the eve of WW2, focusing on a small footnote area I knew nothing about, the school in Bexhill which taught the children of the Nazi high command throughout the 1930s.

Coherence - 8

Really good low budget Sci Fi. Surprisingly creepy too, started it with the lights off but by midway through had to flick them on  The scariness is almost incidental to everything else too. The fact they kind of tie the whole thing in knots and then just don't bother unravelling it is quite fun too. Very much recommended.

Rushmore - 7/10

Not Wes Anderson's best work, but still very enjoyable nethertheless.

Bronson - not as good as Drive/10.
Mr. Brooks - looked like it was made for TV/10.
