Cape Fear - 6/10
Some good performances here, but pretty ridiculous at times and a bit far-fetched in places.

Weakest one for me so far. And also had the most uncomfortable Bond yet with the way he blackmailed a woman into having sex with him on the threat of losing her job.

Connery's Bond is a massive rapist.

Everything Everywhere All At Once - one of the best movies I've ever seen. I don't usually connect with a film like that, but it was utterly incredible. Bizarre on every level, but incredible.

Phantom Menace.

Watching the prequels in anticipation of Obi-Wan starting at the end of the week. Anakin is a child and Jar jar Binks is a war hero. Political corruption, the rise of fascism, and Pod racing - this is Star Wars. 8/10.

Dune - 9/10
Over familiarity from previous film and TV versions dampened things a little and it dragged a touch in that last half hour, but I loved it. It really drew me in from the start and the casting was pretty great. Looking forward to part 2!

...and it's still better than the Disney trilogy.

Her 4/10

Didn't go anywhere, was expecting some shattering revelation that Samantha had been strawberry floating with his life all a long or something but nope, just zzzzzz.

There was an absolute crap ton of hype for this film on ONM when it first came out, i never did understand why.

Resident Evil - Welcome to Racoon City - 0/10

I don't even know what this is. It's a mess of poor cgi, poor lighting, poor casting and it's just so strange. Like a student film but so much worse. Really have no idea why it's so bad, it's just a strange tone and feel that annoys and bores me in equal measure.

The previous Resident Evil movies had ideas borrowed from the games and were big, silly fun. This tries to he horror but isn't even bad horror.

Wish my image sig would work

That new Chip & Dale movie - surprisingly not terrible. Mileage may vary depending on how much you like Brooklyn 99. But there are a metric fuckton of easter eggs in it which almost ruins it (well for me anyway).

I'd give it 8/10. Enjoyed the premise and the endless cameos and background characters was no worse than Roger Rabbit (who is also in it!) and that's one of the greatest animated movies ever made.

Don't look Up - 8. Loved it, very similar to the kind of humour as to how South Park gets a point across

Hype - is that out? I've been looking forward to that. Glad you both [quite] liked it :D

Uncharted: 7/10

Leave your brain at the door and bring some popcorn. It's nowhere near as good as National Treasure or Indiana Jones but there aren't enough treasure hunting movies around.

Ghostbusters Afterlife.

I thought it was rubbish, frankly. The setup is fine, but everything from the halfway point is dire. Rushed, nonsensical and overly reliant on nostalgia.

I didn't find that scene to be as poor taste as I thought I would, but it was just strawberry floating weird. The old Ghostbusters turning up and the end was handled so badly it was funny, just turning up at the house looking all old and Bill Murray trying to tell jokes. strawberry float off.

3/10

Everything Everywhere All At Once - 10/10
Bonkers film that goes at full speed for over two hours and kept me completely invested throughout. Very creative in every way. Feel like I need to watch it again.

So anywhere between 4.5 - 9 out of 10. Pretty indecisive there Moggy.

The pogo stick bit was probably too much for him.
