Did my annual watch of The Thing last night, and it's still one of the best movies ever made.

Then tried to watch Hungerford, which I've tried to watch twice before before turning it off for being dull and annoying.

I have now tried to watch it three times, and this time I got an hour in before turning it off. New record.

The Conjuring 6/10

Actually pretty decent. It sort of trailed off at times but the good parts were relatively creepy. I did let out a big laugh when it showed the old woman on top of the wardrobe though. Looked ridiculous.

Salvation worse than Genysis? :dread:

I quite enjoyed watching Salvation, I did not enjoy Genysis.

Correct order is T1=T2>Salvation>T3>>>getting punched in the bollocks>>>Genysis.

Haven't seen the latest one.

Wrong.

It's:

T1=T2>T3=Dark Fate>slap in the face>Salvation>>>getting repeatedly punched in the bollocks>>>Genysis.

But T2 is the best film ever, let alone the best Terminator film. :fp: :capnscotty:

Parasite - 9/10. Just superb & almost worth the annual cost of Amazon Prime, which is where I’ve just streamed it from.

Parasite - 8

It’s undoubtedly quality but it doesn’t hold up as well on a second viewing. The twists and turns are a big part of it so when you know what’s coming it feels like it drags it’s heels a bit.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood - 9/10

Balled my strawberry floating eyes out. Tom Hanks IS Fred Rogers

So uplifting and wholesome, Jesus Christ, Fred Rogers was the strawberry floating man

T1 is brilliant that's why.

Salvation isn't too bad if you overlook the blatant attempt to shoehorn Arnie (or his likeness) into the film, the fact its set post judgment day makes it more interesting.
