Land of the Dead - 6/10

Romero zombie film. His second zombie trilogy is terrible compared to the first. This one is the best of the new batch but it's still poor. Little heart, poorly written, very much of its time and some terrible cgi. It needed to be a lot longer, have no cgi, less military characters and some good kills.

Wish my image sig would work

Apocalypse Now - 5/10
I'm sure that score is sacrilege to some people, but the film did very little for me. It didn't need to be anywhere close to 3 hours long, and so many sections of boring dialogue or other pointless scenes could have been cut. Martin Sheen was...okay, I guess, but seemed somewhat out of place in the role. There were a few good moments, but for the most part it was dull.

Groundhog Day 9/10: Great, loved it, kept getting better throughout the film.

The Princess Bride 8/10: Also great, though I think the first half is better than the second.

12 Monkeys 6/10: Was excited for this, was fine but could have been better

Two of my favourite films! I think I'd agree on The Princess Bride (although it's great throughout) through to Westley's capture is the best of it.

12 Monkeys gets better for me on every rewatch, it's so well written for time travel consistency.

Midnight Run - 7/10

A pretty good comedy action film. Let down horribly by the awful score, the music was so off-putting all the way through.

It's been years since I watched this film but I remember feeling roughly the same about it. I'd like to watch it again though as I think I'd appreciate more on a second viewing and I can't remember a large portion of it now.

It has some pretty impressive moments, but towards the end it seemed to ramble on a bit for no good reason.

Cats 2/10

If the characters looked like that, we might not have the same problem!

Every single aspect of it was abysmal, but at least it was really entertainingly abysmal.

Is it weird that there's a part of me desperate to watch it just so i can see how bad it is?

Everyone should see Cats. One day, I hope to see it in the cinema so the wretchedness can be viewed as intended.

It's just so incredibly goodbad it needs to be seen to be believed

Its so bad its good.

I really have no idea who the film is aimed at, even fans of the musical dont get a good version of the musical.
