Detective Pikachu.

Enjoyable but it was not too bad.

Fear Street 1994 - 6/10

Quite a boring flabby middle but still quite fun. That bread slicer death though, strawberry floating hell. :dread:

EDIT - Interesting to find out the trilogy of films were meant to be released theatrically last year. This first one at least seemed made as a Netflix miniseries, I think it might have struggled at the cinema.

Fear Street 1666 - 7/10

Solid conclusion to a pretty good trilogy.

Yeah 1666 was solid, maybe could have done without the cast putting on the Irish accents tho.

1978 > 1666 > 1994

Tomorrow War - 4/10

Stupidest balls film I’ve seen since the original Suicide Squad. Can’t believe Chris Pratt agreed to do this nonsense.

The Equalizer- 5/10
Films like this are obviously very reactionary to an almost comical degree, yet I still enjoy them for some reason.

Glass - 5.5/10

Not as bad as I was led to believe. But not great.

The whole ending made bugger all sense.

I always heard he was a pretty cool down to earth guy. Didn't he steal his Starlord costume to visit some kids or something? I guess there's no reason in particular to think he'd be able to pick out gooseberry fool but I can't think of much crap he's done outside of this.

To be honest it's not terrible really just a lot of characters actions make zero sense. The timeline of the film is also pretty illogical.

It is an awful film. I've come to realise Chris Pratt isn't a good actor either.

Captive State - 4/10

Great concept (set after aliens have colonised Earth and countries are basically puppets) but bogged down in uninvolving sequences with characters whose motivations barely rise above ‘peeved revolutionaries’. The plot doesn’t live up to the subtle world-building and without leads to care about, it feels inert. Would definitely have been better suited as a TV series.

Chris Pratt is one of the most overused actors, along with The Rock.

But the Rock carry his films a lot better than Chris Pratt.

I disagree The Rock is good with other actors his Die Hard rip off Skyscraper is an awful movie and for me proved he cannot lead a movie by himself. Jumanji series & Fast and Furious hes ok outside of those not so good.

Chris Pratt's best role was in Zero Dark Thirty

Moana alone means The Rock is one of the greatest living actors.

He is also among the very best when it comes to smouldering intensity...

The Rock's gonna have to calm it down soon. Seeing him for Black Adam he'll have a heart attack in a couple of years at this rate.
