That explains why they make such a big thing of his voice in the second film then. There are multiple references to him sounding annoying and how his voice is "divisive"

I stupidly gave them credit for being self-deprecating but it turns out its just a gooseberry fool reference to Kermode's criticism. :fp:

What did your kids do that made you punish them with Peter Rabbit 2 starring James Corden?

I hope they learnt their lesson anyway.

2 adults and 3 kids does not a cheap trip to the cinema make. :dread:

Theyve definitely put the prices up from the pre-pandemic days as well.

Tried to make out that Donkey Kong Country is a good game.

They got off lightly

Army of the Dead

I can't even give it a score, it was just utter dogshit. No scares, no tension, no laughs, no emotion. No nothing. It started, it happened, it finished. Somehow along the way a hundred million dollars got spent on shite CGI backgrounds and fake tigers.

Insultingly bad.

Don’t say this very often; Capernaum - Absolute Masterpiece 10/10 - whilst serving time for a violent crime a 12 year old boy sues his parents for neglect. This child actor is a superstar, it’s on All 4.

Yea, that was just... Awkward.

Not really sure what Stewart was really trying to achieve there.

 I was thinking the same.

Can't believe the amount of people on here saying it was ok. I honestly found it offensive how awful it was.

Sounds like it's the perfect Snyderverse movie then. I'll avoid.

So glad I waited for impressions before trying that film. Snyder is an absolute hack.

This. Almost nothing happens throughout. It's supposed to be a zombie-heist movie but the zombies aren't really a threat and there's no heist at all. The vault scenes were just some people standing in a concrete corridor talking. Then they open it.

God, it was so bad.

I like the strawberry floating huge plot hole in that the entire plan revolves around somehow getting in to the strip, then making an escape by helicpoter for some reason. Yet to get on the strip, they just walk through a shipping container, and there's nothing bad on the other side, meaning they could have just got the money and walked back out through the shipping container

But it’s clear that she adores the Dalmatian fur, and clearly got her socks blew off when she saw the drawings of the dalamatian inspired outfit in the Glenn Close adaption of 101 Dalmatians.

Hardly the signs of someone who hates them, let alone wanting to wear it.

Anyway I’m bored of all those Disney remakes, reboots or “origins of a villain.” films.

It's revealed later in the film that the film's villain used a dog whistle to order the dalmatians to murder Cruella's mother. Also the villain is actually Cruella's biological mother.

I stopped counting plotholes against it as the whole thing is nonsense. Like, written by a child nonsense.

"Then they see a tiger then they see a few clever zombies then there are sleeping zombies then someone dies but doesn't tell anyone who betrayed her then they talk about their feeling then there's a daddy zombie and a mommy zombie then..."
