Bill & Ted Face The Music - 7/10

An enjoyable extra installment, and was better than the second one.

Jeepers Creepers - 5

Some good scary elements but most of the characters are really strawberry floating annoying. Also what ever happened to Justin Long

Jeepers Creepers is brilliant. Especially the first half. The sequel has one of the best openings in horror cinema.... Then it just goes flat. The third film looks like it was made on a mobile with a budget of £5. The director of the trilogy is now more famous for his crimes than his cinematic crimes.

Wish my image sig would work

Saw a weird version of Demolition Man on TV last night, they replaced all the Taco Bell bits with Pizza Hut, and even dubbed the name when it was used in the dialogue.

Even the little pot of food dropped by the scrap guy outside the restaurant had a pizza hut label on it.

Weird.

That's the British version. They thought we'd struggle to follow the movie as we don't have Taco Bell over here.

The Trial of the Chicago 7

So good. Probably my pick for Best Picture this year, although I still have a few more potentials to see.

Because (at the time) Taco Bell was less popular outside of the US, the European version of the film was re-dubbed to replace all Taco Bell references with Pizza Hut instead.

If only somebody had already explained that.

That's definitely in the 'so bad it somehow went right round the scale and got a smirk out of me' zone .

Still seems odd though, as the VHS copy i bought back in the day (and every version i've owned since) has always been the Taco Bell edition.

It's so unrealistic, everyone knows that Taco Bell won the Franchise Wars, even us Brits.

Not amazing, but not terrible.

News of the World - 4/10

Not sure why this is getting so much praise as I found it a bit of a slog and I'm at the point now where Tom Hanks playing Tom Hanks is not at all interestingThe actress playing the young girl was very good and the shootout scene in the desert was very tense but apart from that it was pretty dull and not at all compelling. I'm not a huge fan of westerns which probably didn't help but hey ho.

Donnie Brascoe 7/10
The Boys from Brazil 7/10
3 Days of the Condor

Seems this weekend was a bit of films which are decent enough but noting special.

3 Days of the Condor was good in places but the whole overriding plot made no sense. From reading the synopsis the book's actually does, so why they felt the need to change.
The Boys from Brazil was also fine, was expecting something a bit better. Maybe if you watched it in the cinema at the time and didn't know they were Hitler clones, you get a bit more of a twist/reveal.
Donnie Brascoe felt it was lacking something. The Departed is obviously still the best film of this FBI infiltrates the mob genre.

Cube

This was hilarious. I haven't laughed out loud like that to even the greatest comedies. Just so many amazing scenes and the scenery chewing on display by the lead actor was incredible.

It was a bad film but I loved it

Saw 2 ripped it off so hard though. They're almost the same film except Saw 2 had a satisfying ending.

Are you sure you watched Cube? Because that review makes it sound like you watched something else.

Twister - 7/10

Fun 90's action, the effects look a bit ropey now, but i still enjoy it.
