Try the Alien v Predator movies next. I want to see a minus figure.

Then Alien: Covenant. That film made me genuinely angry.

Alien Covenant is one of the few films which has made me laugh out loud in the cinema. I was the only person laughing.

Alien > Aliens > Alien isolation > Alien 3 > Prometheus

There are no other alien films.

Aliens (extended) , Alien (original cut) , Alien 3 (director's cut) , Ressurection.

Avp and the uncut version of avp 2 are fun but silly.

The 2 new ones. Utter gooseberry fool. They actually make me annoyed.

Resurrection has some good moments, the clone and flamethrower, the underwater bit, the newborn and it's reveal, the final horrible screams in the airlock.

Its not a great alien film but it's an enjoyable enough sci fi film. Very strong cast too.

Directors cut of Alien 3 is really good. Great cast and it all just feels so hopeless. Only thing it does wrong is the off screen deaths of 2 amazing characters.

Wish my image sig would work

As far as i'm concerned...

Alien > Aliens > Prometheus > Alien Covenant > Alien 3 > Alien Vs Predator > Alien Resurrection > AVP: Requiem

Which series has the worst entry, Alien or Terminator?

I still think Aliens Resurrection is a better film than Terminator Salvation.

Panic Room 5/10 - A film that allowed Fincher to play around with his cgi and camera work in an enclosed environment. The film itself felt very noughties, filter and all.

Speed 8/10 Was obsessed with this film as a kid, and it still holds up so well. He really does have a hard on for that bus.

Still, Speed 3 is better.

The Gentlemen 8/10

I enjoyed that first film i have actually watched with Hugh Grant in it and he was really good. The piss take of how the youngster rude boi's talk in the film made me laugh so much Colin Farrell was awesome as always. Michelle Dockery  :datass:

Nice tribute too Bob Hoskins and The Long Good Friday near the end too nice touch. Lock Stock & Snatch are Guy Ritchie's 2 best films but this film is easily in his top 5 imo

Watched a few this past week.

Kindergarten Cop - Somehow I don't think I'd seen this before, but I'm glad I watched it, partially because it's a fun film and also because I can now place a bunch of Arnie quotes I'd heard somewhere before.

Captain America: Civil War - This film is simple at it's heart, but it works well because of the clearly defined motivations and personalties of the characters. It builds well on the previous movies in the series to do so and despite a larger cast, it doesn't drag.

Justice League - The opposite of what I wrote above.

Speed is a seriously underrated film due to its daft premise. Easily up there with the best of 90s action films.

EDIT - However even a ten second cursory glance at its reception suggests it is absolutely not underrated. :slol:

Perhaps it's just the people I know.

Mean Streets 3/10 why has this got a 97% approval rate on RT? Incredibly dull nothing happens and the characters aren't particularly interesting.

The Birds 7/10 - Similar horrors can be experienced walking along Blackpool beach with an ice cream.

Terminator: Genysis is worse that anything the Alien franchise has to offer. T1 & T2 are the only decent efforts in that series. Alien 3 is massively underrated, especially the Assembly Cut.
