If like me you mistakenly thought it to be the origin of the Don McLean song

I actually liked the main 4 although I guess I did go watch them in the cinema. Speaking of which

The Naked Mile: 4/10. #moreofthesame

I can get back to some decent films now.

Might be going against the grain here, but the theatrical cut of Leon is better than the director’s.

You might have been 14 in 1999 which is a compelling reason.

Also the soundtrack was the bomb.

God damn it. I now really want to see a version of Leon where Jean Reno is replaced with Eugene Levy.

Crimson Tide - 9/10

I've never seen this film before but I thought it was brilliant. Really made by the big names-Denzil Washington and Gene Hackman give fantastic performances and Hans Zimmer's score adds superbly to the tension and drama throughout. Don't think the scenario would work with today's technology but for the time, I bet this was a pretty terrifying idea. Still is, in lots of ways I guess.

Yeah, the Pie movies had amazing soundtracks.

Blink 182 even had a cameo in the first one.

You say amazing soundtracks and Blink 182 in the same post and expect me to take that seriously! :P

Nothing wrong with a bit of Blink 182, certainly preferable to your tape of 'Robert Hardy reads Tess of the Durbevilles', and don't even get me started on your collection of James Last records.

Next you're going to tell me you don't like Reggie Wilson! I'm listening to the Lift Music Classics right now!

Lord of the Rings the Fellowship of the Ring 9/10: This is the most interesting (and best) Lord of the Rings, has the most plot

Lord of the Rings The Two Towers 9/10: Maybe not quite as good as the above, gets a bit confusing in places/could do with a bit more background in places for those who haven't read the book. Battle of Helms Deep is a great battle seen though, remember the first time I saw it being awestruck.

How to Train your Dragon 6/10: It was alright, standard story tropes, not too many laughs but passable.
