6 Days - 7/10

Film about the Iranian Embassy siege in 1980, starring Jamie Bell and Mark Strong. Pretty good depiction of how things went down, has its dull moments but the actual SAS stuff is good. The actress playing the BBC reporter was atrocious though, very clearly trying to do an impression of someone and failing miserably.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot - 2/10

strawberry floating awful, one of the worst movies I’ve seen in years. And I like a lot of Kevin Smith’s movies. One of the few decent scenes is at the very end when Stan Lee is talking. The outtakes/alternate scenes during the credits are better than the entire movie.

Avoid!

Toy Story 4 - 6/10

I don't get what the point of this was. I mean, it was okay, it just lacked the spark that Pixar usually inject into their stuff.

Zodiac - 8/10

Still fantastic and probably Fincher's last great film. You can really feel the natural link between this and Mindhunter. Which makes that hiatus all the more frustrating.

1917/10

Woah. Both my wife and I needed a moment to compose ourselves before we left the cinema after that. I don't remember the last time a film effected me in such a way and I'm so glad I saw it in the cinema. Really, really special. It's going to be on my mind for a while.

David Copperfield- 7/10

Dragged a bit at times but Tilda Swinton and Hugh Laurie were good. I was disappointed the statue of liberty trick didn't make the cut.

They better not have sex in a cinema I'm in as I hate people making noise during a film :x .
If they must have sex in the cinema pick a film nobody cares about like Star Wars or any super hero film.

Saw this last night and agree it did sort of sag in the middle but it was still a delightfully charming piece of work. And the colour-blind casting has upset a lot of banana splits. 10/10 just for that.
