Scream (5) - 9/10 - i loved it, everything about it was so great. only knock it down a point as i feel a couple characters could have been fleshed out a little bit more.

Scream 7/10 pretty decent sequel but I hadn't seen the previous ones. Really liked the ending was kinda hilarious. I wouldn't call these horror films though.

Supergirl (1984) 8/10 haven't watched this in years so thought I'd rewatch it. For it's time it was pretty decent even though it ended up being a flop. Still one of my all time top ten films
Also I ate at Popeyes in London last weekend as they finally came to the U.K. and are going to expand across the country. I noticed them eating at popeyes in this film too lol

The Eternals- 3/10

Joyless and too long. Impressive to have such a big cast and so few characters I want to watch. The second post-credit scene was the best part of the film.

Venom: Let there be Carnage- 7.5/10

If a film is going to be stupid, make it entertaining and this is. Better and funnier than the first.

The Eternals [5/10] Bang average if honest, as Mori says its way too long and only gets interesting towards the end and mid and post credit scenes.

Don’t Look Up - [6/10] This just speaks the truth and it’s how I see how people (especially) America would behave during an apocalypse. That said I found the film weird and hard to watch, it didn’t grip me at all but appreciate the message.

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, Red Dwarf S4, Dexter S2
RACE | Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)

I honestly think Venom 2 was the worst film I've seen in the last couple of years. Had zero redeeming qualities for me.

I will always listen to Tom Hardy do a stupid voice. It was sensibly short as well/

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

strawberry float it, I love this film. Harley Quinn is amazing and it's a travesty that the sequel was cancelled.

Nightmare Alley - 6/10; mixed feelings about Del Toro's latest film - gorgeous cinematography / atmosphere and fantastic cast but 30 minutes too long and the story's finale is lacking.

Nobody - 8/10

Fantastic stuff, and not what I was expecting from the film at all. Odenkirk is so good.

The Matrix 4- 5/10
eh
I dont think the original matrix sequels were very good, this film follows those but not for the same reasons. It spends a lot of time being obviously meta and while I respect this decision, it wasn't executed very well.

Quiet Place 2 - 6

It was fine, over reliance on jump scares and pretty simplistic story hold it back. Nobody has much to do which is why it’s mercifully short.

Ghostbusters Afterlife

8/10

Hot dog! My expectations were low but I was completely taken by surprise. Brilliant ending to the trilogy, really fantastic. And Phoebe was excellent.

Also, even as a child, Egon has always been my favourite ghostbuster. He's so cool.

The Warriors

I was about 12 when I first saw this. Still a great film & the soundtracks pretty good too.
