I couldn't remember which M:I is which, apart from 1, 2 and 3.

4/5/6 seems to be melted together.

Spider-Man: Far From Home - 8.5/10

I think it's slightly unfortunate to have been released just after Spider-Verse, which is far and away the best of the Spider-Man films. It's still really good. The Holland Spider-Man films are exactly what I would have wanted from a live-action movie when I read the comics as a kid. And bringing back J.K. Simmons as Jonah Jameson was a strawberry floating masterstroke.

The quiet place. Really good. some of the music was a bit unneeded. Emotional, suspenseful and the last bit was bad ass. 9/10.

Are they doing a sequel to this? Pick up from it left off or same universe different place/people?

I thought the ending was really good and actually quite satisfying to completely finish the story off. I hope they take the next film in a different direction - Aliens to Alien. Turn Blunt into Ripley.

I thought the film was generic as strawberry float personally, but you can't please everyone I guess.

Rewatched Brightburn over the weekend. Definitely suffers on a rewatch. First watch you hang on to the potential in the premise, but knowing it does nothing with it really hammers home how empty the film is.

Pretty damn sure that the Netflix version is some kind of Directors Cut though, because I'm positive that there's some gore in there that was cut from the HK theatrical release.

Hobbs and Snore 5/10
Great ott action scenes, but was far too long, Kevin Hart was a bit of annoying and some characters felt wasted.

47 Ronin 6/10
Enjoyable Samurai flick with Keanu Reeves.

Joker - Very good and Joaquin Phoenix was certainly a deserving Oscar winner for his lead performance. An intriguing watch seeing his descent into madness. 8/10

Zombieland 2 - Enjoyable enough but largely lacking the magic of the original. The original cast do their best but the new supporting characters add little. 5/10

I'm currently watching WWII in Colour (Netflix) and it's incredible!

Up to Episode Five now. I'd recommend anybody to watch this.

Watched this years ago and thought it was good then but it's particularly interesting in today's climate. Good ensemble cast.

7/10. Would suggest everyone who has not seen this watch it now. (or maybe not depending on your disposition)

My year 9's were doing a unit on disease literally after Christmas and they watched it in lesson.

Shutter Island - *****

I don't know how I managed to avoid all spoilers for this film for a decade, but I'm glad I did, because it was amazing. I want to go and watch it again, because I know I spotted clues for the reveal all the way through, and I want to see if there were any I didn't notice, now I know.
