Enjoy this just as much every time I watch it, manages to be violent and seedy yet still remain hilarious.

Still haven't got a bloody clue what Pitt is saying for 90% of his dialogue though .

hilarious scene :slol: :slol:

i have seen Lock Stock & Snatch countless times and they still crack me :slol: :slol:

Detective Pikachu.

It's slight as strawberry float, but it's great fun and Reynolds has a blast. Shame the supporting cast have absolutely nothing to do, even Bill Nighy who desperately wants some scenery to chew. Pretty enjoyable overall though.

7/10.

Spiderman Homecoming.

I dont think Tom Holland is that good. The "suit" spoils it abit too much, its more iron man 3.5 in places. Yes he does lose it, but I think Spiderman should be his own super hero, not Tony Starks ward. I like origin stories and its a shame its been overdone and weve missed out. Micheal Keaton is really good, should have been used alot more on the ground.

Black Panther.

Not as bad as i remember my first watch. But had potential to be better. The "James Bond" bits should be explored alot more. Bad antagonist. The feudal, tribalism, trial by combat, gorilla chants, political system are abit "much" imo. I think the film addressed more for feminism than racism. But the end of the film had more scope for redemption, Im more hopeful of for the potential of the sequel than that of spidermans.

Thor Ragnorok

I good book end to the Thor trilogy. Good mix of humour, story, action and sentiment. Cate Blanchett is very good and looks the part - when Galadriel goes the One Ring. Hemsworth and Hiddlestone are both good as usual. Good soundtrack / Flash Gordon-esque score too. The suns really low - Hulk good too, bit of progression on his story. Will Sif be in AsGaurdians of the Galaxy 3 - might be a good conclusion?

Loved that film as a kid, still enjoy it today.

Anyone who didn't like it probably didn't even have a slinky, or had part of one which they then straightened.

Yeah i still enjoy it today, it was the first GB film i saw

I would love to see a cut with the original screenplay & with the deleted scenes included someday or if they were to release more deleted scenes and footage cut from the original cut.

Agree 100%. Nighy needed about five more minutes of screentime to be genuinely effective in the role he played.

I loved this though, saw it yesterday morning and it was a perfect hangover cure and Saturday morning turn-the-brain-off movie.

Dark Phoenix- 6/10

Disappointingly competent, I was promised a mess. Word was they changed the entire third act because it was too similar to Captain Marvel. This was a better film than Captain Marvel so I would have liked to seen their take.

Always Be My Maybe (Netflix) - 8/10
Thoroughly enjoyable rom-com from Ali Wong and Randall Park. Hits all of the right notes for this kind of film with two great leads. Man of the moment Keanu Reeves steals the show with a brilliant cameo role.

Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse - 9.5/10
An absolutely fantastic movie from start to finish! Charming, funny, expertly paced, full of well thought out in-jokes and with a story line that actually works for both the characters and the audience which is something of a rarity for superhero movies these days! Also helps that it looks absolutely incredible - a true feast for the eyes! Phil Lord and Chris Miller continue to demonstrate that they are some of the safest hands in Hollywood (I still trust that Solo would have been better if they were left to do what they wanted!)

Voice cast were brilliant as well, although I imagine that anyone else who is a New Girl fan found it hard to hear Jake Johnson as anyone other than Nick Miller - although that probably helped with the portrayal they were going for!

Bohemian Rhapsody

Not even worthy of a score. Absolutely awful, film-school esque nonsense.

I've not seen it myself, but it's got an IMDB of 8.0/10 and won 4 Oscars and 2 Golden Globes. It can't be that bad, surely?
