IT Chapter 2 - 7/10; I enjoyed the first one slightly better, Pennywise takes a backseat to other monsters and it’s a shame as most people are freaked out by the clown. Bill Hader steals the film, some great one liners but maybe there was too much comedy and not enough horror. I didn’t feel the threat to the adults was as strong as it was to them as kids.

I didn’t like the homophobic beatdown at the beginning, it was shocking, horrific and served no purpose to the story whatsoever and had no comeback later in the film, bizarre opener. There are people who try to justify it by saying terrible things happen in an idillic place, what total BS.

That is in the book though, and does serve as the trigger to let Hanlon know that It is back.

Endgame - 8
Was really hyped to finally see it after the brilliant Infinity War and was little bit disappointed, the film just felt too long at 3 hours and could've easily been cut by 30-45 mins, and the final battle whilst epic most of the returning cast was only has a couple of minuets screen time, but the ending was amazing and it was a great ending to the 20 or so arc of Marvel movies.

Glory - 9
Found this for £2 in Poundland and heard good things about it so I picked it up and it's a brilliant take on the American Civil War with a brilliant cast.

Zero Dark Thirty - only just avoids being skin-crawlingly jingoistic, so it's doing better than American Sniper, which was disgusting. This was an interesting movie, and I'm not sure if I can really give it a score.

The final 20 minutes with the assault on OBL's bachelor pad is immense :datass:

Rest is a bit boring, I thought.

Galaxy Quest - 7/10

I’ve somehow never watched this but always heard good things. It’s ok but I don’t really get why it’s so beloved, Rickman is as great as ever and Weaver looks amazing but overall the movie didn’t grab me. Entertaining but I doubt I’d bother watching again.

Teen Titans Go to the Movies - 9/10

I laughed my arse off through the whole thing. An excellent movie and those Stan Lee cameos were brilliant.

I also really liked this, just a shame that they teased Teen Titans returning and it turns out to be Go! Vs Teen Titans. I really like the teen Titans show from the 2000's.

I think I watched about half an hour of it when it aired on Sky (years ago) and turned it off because I thought it was gooseberry fool.

The Greatest Showman - NA/10

Got about 5 minutes in, as soon as the young kid started singing I had to turn it off. NOT FOR ME.
