What the strawberry float... Into thirty minutes, I found it so boring and uninteresting.

Yeah, bit of an odd one that, didn't do much for me either.

Dark Waters 8/10 really well made, Anne Hathaway had very little to do though.

Sonic 6/10 pretty by the numbers, was fine you can probably add on an extra half a point of you're a fan of Sonic.

The Big Short - 9/10

Really enjoyed this, even if I can't honestly say I followed every part of it :slol:

. Great acting though from all involved and I enjoyed the way the story was told.

Pretty scary how lax everything was in the run up to the 2008 crash, and I wouldn't be shocked at all if it turned out that things had started to slide back already :dread:

Great film that does a brilliant job of explaining the economics of the credit crunch in a 2 hour movie designed for entertainment. Also, to its' credit, it's also fairly accurate, even acknowledging to the audience one part they made up :lol:

Sonic - 7/10

Much better than I was expecting. It's not fantastic by any stretch of the imagination, but it's decent. Loads of little easter eggs and references for fans to find. One of the better game to movie attempts.

Onward - 5/10

It’s fine. Not Pixar’s usual level and I’m going to happily never watch it again.

Salt 8/10
Very fun spy flick with Angelina Jolie

Mission Impossible 3 8/10

The fourth one is the best, after that it goes downhill (though none are as bad as the second one which was truly godawful).

1>3>4>2>6>5

4/6/5 all kind of blur together for me. I think 1 and 3 are comfortably the best and I much prefer 1 because I like the Spy aspect to it rather than just mad action.

The Patrick Willems explains video on them is really good.

It's John Woo's career in a nutshell - stylish, with not a great deal of substance. But my God the style usually makes up for the deficiencies. It's the same with his other US films - Broken Arrow, Face/Off etc are the same.

4>1>3>5>6>2 is my line up.

I’ve never quite understood why it is so derided. Aside from the weird ‘getting your gun off’ stuff it’s perfectly enjoyable. Plus the Chimera virus is the best Maguffin they’ve had in the series since the NOC list.

I'd nudge 3 down a place but this is otherwise pretty spot on for me too.

I haven't seen any of them beyond 3, which I really enjoyed. Would go 3>1>2.
