just saw onward id give it a 9 out of 10. just an all round good movie i thought

6 is one of the best.

I really like the memory of the earlier films but I find them quite painful to watch now because they are obscenely cheesy.

4 and 5 are my favourites!

Didn't realise 5 would be so popular. Only part I remember from it is when he's hanging off the plane which was all over the marketing with practically the whole scene in the trailer and then you watch the film and it all happens before the opening titles even happen.

Those movies are just white noise to me, a soup of nondescript people doing nondescript stuff. Absolute bobbins.
Actually the mighty Phil Seymour Hoffman made M:I3 a bit more bearable.

No that was 5. 5 and 6 kinda blur together though as the same director did them and the bad guy is the same. They're really competent fun action movies.

I think they're all pretty gooseberry fool apart from the first one really.

1 is a genuinely excellent spy movie and is very well put together even when you compare it to much more recent movies.

I've definitely not seen 6 but I can't remember if I've seen 5 either.

Out of the one's I know I've seen I'd rank them: 1>3>4>2

I particularly enjoyed the Burj Khalifa sequence in 4, really made that one stand out for me.

I remember 2 being really popular at the time, but it's aged worse than a signed photo of Jimmy Saville at a Scout meeting.

1 is a legitimately good spy thriller. The rest are mostly decent to good action movies.

Yeah, 1 had by far the best story overall, but the inaccurate channel tunnel sequence (using a French TGV and not eurostar, travelling at high speed at a time before HS1 was built, and the tunnel entrance looking not even remotely realistic, i'll forgive the helicopter because action sequence, but still.) loses it points.

I think I'm more of a fan of 4,5,6 although they all blur together. They all have really good set pieces. I think I'd go 3,1,2 although they're all pretty decent films.

Contagion.

Watched this years ago and thought it was good then but it's particularly interesting in today's climate. Good ensemble cast.

7/10. Would suggest everyone who has not seen this watch it now. (or maybe not depending on your disposition)
